Hadiah oh hadiah...

Bila la nak siap hadiah nie... Tak bergerak-gerak... Takat jadi sketch je la ko yer... Bila la nak jadi realiti... Mimpi aje... Hahaha... Tu la bila da jadi full time housewife nie... Kene ikut schedule kerja rumah & anak-anak... Alasan jer...

Tapi kalo kecik nie melekat jer... Cam no? Tu la yg jadi nie... Setakat sidai baju, basuh baju, lipat baju, masak, vakum rumah tu bole. Sebab kecik nie bole ikut dok dalam baby carrier or dok kat dalam high chair sambil layan dia.

Tapi kalo nak buat design ker, kerja-kerja kraf aku nie x leh buat kerja sambil mengasuh... Tak jadi design aku nie. Tengah gunting kain or kertas mau jadi lain... Sekarang nie hubby ler tukang masak sb kecik tu melekat jer. Bab siang & potong memotong jer aku buat. Tu pun kadang tak sempat siap dah merengek... Bila nak buat kerja pun sama, hubby la terpaksa mengasuh be-budak nie.

Hadiah nie... Harap jadi lah hadiah... Idea dah ada... Design dah ada... Bahan dah beli... Execution jer belum... Nanti dah siap bole la tayang kat blog nie, sebelum post... Hehehehe

Angan-angan tak ingat... :) doakan yer hadiah aku siap...

My car's back & break light won't turn off even switch & engin was off...

We were in KL that time when this happends. We were just arrived & leaving our daughter & son in the house. Me return to our car to collect out luggage, leaving hubby babysit & have a rest. Then I find out that our tail light was on. I thought maybe the switch was on. But then I "tengok" that the front light was off... Hhmmm... I tried to switch on & off again & again. I tried to start the engin & switching of the security alarm. But the tail light was still on. I don't want to wait too long or our car battery would be drained. So I quickly take our bags & went up to the house to inform my hubby.

So he went down & examine for himself before end up to pull out the car battery for that night.

I was so exhausted and fell asleep while breastfeeding my baby. But my hubby can't go to sleep because of this problem. He was worried sick coz we are departing back to Alor Setar tomorrow morning after my job interview.

Nak hantar kedai check pun duit x der. Duit ada ngam2 for toll & car fuel. Nak beli makanan pun x cukup. Nasib ada duit syiling skit. Tu pun ada kot RM20 utk beli makanan for 3 of us for 2 days... Hubby was surfing & googling for hours till morning to find what went wrong. It couldn't be wiring coz switch was off. But who knows we are not mechanic. I was up at 2 am accompany him. But still didn't find answer. He went to car again & he found something on the floor, that thing da pecah n don't know want was it n what for. So we assume it must be this thing has link or kena mengena with the tail light problem.

But time for my interview da dekat so have to get prepared. Take bath & give bath... Bersiapla... Kerete? Tawakkal jer la... Bawak slow2. Duit x der...

After the interview we went straight back to alor setar takut still on highway malam... Susah.

Today, we discovered what was that thing my hubby found on the floor. Yes it is true it does have something to do with that tail light problem. It name was "pad paddle stopper". So the problem solved by glue'ing 5cent there. Haish... Pening kepala cari what was the problem. Only that was it! Kalau hantar kedai mekanik tak tahu apa... Abis aku nyer kete, kene rungkai. Tak pun abis duit kene tipu.

This questions I used to answer for my first baby. Now I am trying to answers again for my second baby... What would be my answer... Hehehe... Here goes:

1. WAS YOUR SECOND PREGNANCY PLANNED?-yes

2. WHAT WAS YOUR 2ND CHOICE NAME OR YOUR OPPOSITE GENDER NAME?- That name was my first baby name. Actually I have forgotten about the name I have chosen before. But it end up similar but with different spelling and meaning. What I had in mind were Hannan Humairah & Muhammad Harith Haikal. (dengan harapan suatu hari nanti ada rezeki dapat anak kembar... :)

Potty train

Well actually this potty train session was done way before I quit my job & decide to stay here in in-law's house to take care of my mother in-law that was sick & still till today. But back then the decision made bcos of nobody was there to take care of her other than us.

Back to potty train. Balqis da bole tell me when she want's to poop then. When she is about one years old. But the potty train stops & didn't continue due to I'm working & always came home late. So the potty training stops to poop in toilet only. Not even start to pee in the toilet.

But, she refused to poop in the toilet ever since we stay here in the in-law's house. She refused to use the w.c coz it was BLUE colored w.c. We didn't forced her since the toilet is not friendly to children anyway. Coz there is no hand bidet only kolah air, so many mosquitos & the tiles are slippery. So it was dangerous for a small child to be there, since she is very playful & might not be listening to me screaming when she meets up with water. Macam itik....

So then, I've decided to potty train her last month. Full potty train... For first few day there were "incidents". Sebab belum sure about pee like. Then later she can inform us to go to toilet but still can't control it. And now she can inform us and control to pee in the toilet. But still she refuse to poop on that w.c. I don't know what else to do. I know she knows when she wants to poop only she refused to.

Memang yakin... Sebab in my mother's house last week bole plak poop kat toilet.

Nampak gayanya kene start cari rumah lain & kerja la... Kerja? Memang tengah cari... Since my brother & sister in-law dah ada to took care of my mother in-law. My business? I will continue online... Kedai tutup.

This is due my MIL more in need of money then we staying here. Since she was unable to move or even sit up. My SIL alone can take care of my MIL. Duit my FIL sorang nye kuderat tak mampu nak tampung perbelanjaan makanan & ubatan for my MIL. There to many thing to buy just to make sure she is healthy & recovering. Pampers (4-5 times daily), baby wipes (200sheet for 2 weeks), diabetic milk (1 large tin for 5 days), diabetic strip for check sugar level (4 kali sehari) & other medications.

So for that reason we need to have extra money to help her & to help our selves to. Hutang keliling pinggang sape nak bayar? Itu hari okla ada duit simpanan... Sekarang da kering... Bukan duit jer da kering... Apa saja yg bernilai abis jual da... Mana yg penting jer x jual lagi... Sape nak tolong? Along? Hahaha... Nak mintak tolong pun segan.... Hanya Allah la tempat kami mengadu... Manusia? Mmm... Tahulah macam mana...

Alhamdulillah... We still have tempat berteduh & bole makan.

Please pray for us to be strong in doing deeds & permudahkan untuk kami membantu lagi....

Majlis akad nikah was held on 3rd November 2011, I wasn't there. So no picture.

Majlis kenduri was held on 7th November 2011. I was there with my family. And so far this is the longest car parade I have involved. Dulu time Uki ramai jugak tapi x la que kereta macam lipan... Just terus jumpa kat tempat majlis and bekwoh jalan kaki jah. Since I'm posting this post via my phone. So no pinture uploaded coz all pictures ada dalam videocam. X bawak DSLR sb nak kene usung baby kan... :) I will upload later the pictures.

Next comming kenduri on our family side will be held on 19th November 2011. I will not be there... So I'll be waiting for pictures uploaded by my sister or brothers. Nana jangan lupa upload tau!!!

What is Jaundice? @ Apa itu Demam Kuning?

Not many parents have knowledge about this... even me as a mother also have no idea of what is Jaundice until my child were told having jaundice.. I usually hear the name of jaundice @ demam kuning. But do not know what is it @ ignored about it. We as new parents will be panic when people around always saying that how dangerous the jaundice is to our child and she or he could die. But we were never been told how to prevent or how to took care of our child if were infected.

Here I would share my experience with other mothers & parents out there who are concern about their child.

In a normal newborns, jaundice refers to the yellow color of the skin and whites of the eyes caused by excess bilirubin in the blood. Bilirubin is produced by the normal breakdown of red blood cells. (Demam kuning adalah disebabkan oleh proses pemecahan sel darah merah di dalam badan yang menghasilkan bilirubin)

Normally, bilirubin passes through the liver and is excreted as bile through the intestines. Jaundice occurs when bilirubin builds up faster than a newborn's liver can break it down and pass it from the body. Reasons for this include:

Newborns make more bilirubin than adults do since they have more turnover of red blood cells.
A newborn baby's still-developing liver may not yet be able to remove adequate bilirubin from the blood.
Too large an amount of bilirubin is reabsorbed from the intestines before the baby gets rid of it in the stool.

High levels of bilirubin — usually above 25 mg — can cause deafness, cerebral palsy, or other forms of brain damage in some babies. In less common cases, jaundice may indicate the presence of another condition, such as an infection or a thyroid problem. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that all infants should be examined for jaundice within a few days of birth.

Types of Jaundice

The most common types of jaundice are:

Physiological (normal) jaundice: occurring in most newborns, this mild jaundice is due to the immaturity of the baby's liver, which leads to a slow processing of bilirubin. It generally appears at 2 to 4 days of age and disappears by 1 to 2 weeks of age.

Jaundice of prematurity: occurs frequently in premature babies since they are even less ready to excrete bilirubin effectively. Jaundice in premature babies needs to be treated at a lower bilirubin level than in full term babies in order to avoid complications.

Breastfeeding jaundice: jaundice can occur when a breastfeeding baby is not getting enough breast milk because of difficulty with breastfeeding or because the mother's milk isn’t in yet. This is not caused by a problem with the breast milk itself, but by the baby not getting enough to drink.

Resepi menu hari ini

Bagi memenuhi permintaan dari rakan-rakan dan juga kepada yang berminat untuk mencuba... Disini saya kongsikan Resepi bagi menu hari ini.

Resepi Ayam masak merah

Bahan-bahan:
Sedikit halia
1-2 batang serai
2 biji Bawang besar
3-4 biji Bawang merah
4-5 biji Cili kering (ikut citarasa kalau nak pedas letak lebih)
1/2 ekor Ayam
Sos tomato
Serbuk kunyit
Minyak masak
Gula
Garam

Cara-cara:
1. Rebus cili kering sehingga lembut.
2. Kisar bawang merah, bawang besar, halia, serai & cili kering tadi sehingga hancur.
3. Panaskan minyak didalam kuali. Tunggu sehingga minyak panas. Masukkan bahan yang dikisar tadi.
4. Masak sehingga cili masak... Masukkan sedikit sos tomato. Iaitu rasa pahit hilang... Atau cili tu berubah warna pekat. Tambahkan air secukup rasa... Ikut rasa masing2 la nak kuah cair atau pekat. Tambahkan gula & garam secukup rasa.
5. Sementara menunggu kuah tadi masak.. Gorengkan ayam dengan kunyit & garam.
6. Bila kuah dah masak. Masukkan ayam yang telah digoreng tadi. Tunggu sehingga agak2 kuah da meresap masuk kedalam ayam goreng tadi.
7. Dah siap... Bole da dihidangkan.

*Kalau nak rasa berlemak campurkan susu cair.

Resepi Dalca

Bahan-bahan:
Bunga cengkih
Bunga lawang
Kulit kayu manis
Bawang merah
Kacang dhal
Daging @ ayam
Terung
Lobak merah
Potato @ ubi kentang
Serbuk kari daging
Santan @ susu sejat

Cara-cara:
1. Rebuskan kacang dal sehingga lembut.
2. Panaskan minyak dan tumis bunga lawang, bunga cengkih dan kulit kayu manis sehingga naik bau. masukkan bawang merah yang telah dihiris halus.
3. Setelah kekuningan masukkan serbuk kari. Tumis sehingga masak dan masukkan santan @ susu.
4. Masukkan sesikit air. Masukkan daging @ ayam. Rebus sehingga lembut.
5. Masukkan santan @ susu secukupnya (berpadananan dengan jumlah sebuk kari yang dimasukkan. Warnanya tidak pekat dan tidak terlalu putih). Kacau sehingga santan betul2 masak tapi jangan sehingga pecah minyak.
6. Masukkan semua sayur-sayuran dan ubi mengikut urutan (yang mudah lembut dikemudiankan). Jika perlu tambahkan air. Masukkan garam & gula secukup rasa.
7. Tunggu sehingga semua lembut dan selepas itu boleh la dihidangkan.

Resepi Dalca ekspress

Bahan-bahan:
Kacang dhal
Daging @ ayam
Terung
Lobak merah
Potato @ ubi kentang
Serbuk kari daging
Santan @ susu sejat

Cara-cara:
1. Rebus kacang dal hingga lembut. Kalau nak guna daging masukkan jer sekali supaya cepat lembut.
2. masukkan serbuk kari. Rebus daging & dal dalam kari sehingga lembut.
3. Masukkan santan @ susu secukupnya (berpadananan dengan jumlah sebuk kari yang dimasukkan. Warnanya tidak pekat dan tidak terlalu putih). Kacau sehingga santan betul2 masak tapi jangan sehingga pecah minyak.
4. Masukkan semua sayur-sayuran dan ubi mengikut urutan (yang mudah lembut dikemudiankan). Jika perlu tambahkan air. Masukkan garam & gula secukup rasa.
5. Tunggu sehingga semua lembut dan selepas itu boleh la dihidangkan.

Resepi Nasi tomato

Bahan-bahan:
Beras
Tomato purée
Planta
Bunga cengkih
Bunga lawang
Kulit kayu manis
Susu sejat
Gula
Garam

Cara-cara:
1. Panaskan periuk & masukkan planta. Setelah panas.
2. Tumiskan bunga cengkih, bunga lawang & kulit kayu manis sehingga naik bau.
3. Masukkan sedikit air.
4. Masukkan tomato purée mengikut jumlah beras yang akan dimasak (cukup untuk memerahkan nasi)
5. Masukkan susu secukupnya & air mengikut sukatan. (1 pot beras = 1 pot air).
6. Tunggu hingga mendidih. Masukkan beras yang telah dicuci.
7. Tunggu hingga masak.

maaflah yer kalau resepi ni x der amount bahan-bahan... Sebab kami masak main agak2 dan rasa2 jer... Tulah yang kami buat setiap kali masak... :) "kami" = me + hubby

My hubby nie memang suka masak so susahla nak larang dia dari masuk dapur kecuali memang dia rasa malas nak masak that day. Tambahan plak his wife nie not a good cook lagi... :) itu yang best tu time masak kami masak sama-sama... Actually anything we do... We will do it together.. Kalau bole bebudak nie masuk sekali... Kitaorang join kan diorang sekali... Macam time buat kuih raya... Semua take part. And usually everytime kitaorang masak. Balqis is yang tukang test rasa... Sedap or not. Seronokkan? Hope what we did now will last forever... Amin.

Why my baby poop green?

Hhmmm... Got some questions wondering in my mind when my little prince poop went green last 2 weeks... Again actually... The first time was about a month ago... When it happens... As usual I will automatically when for googlling. Searching for an answer. Many website or forum said it was because of lack of hind milk..

"green poop can be a sign of too much foremilk and no hind milk."

Hind milk is the fatty milk with thick white colored milk (mine la) & foremilk is the water like milk.

And if your infant really are pooping green because of it. Usually your infant will also exhibit:

1. Fussiness and/or gassiness

2. Frequent stools, often green, curdy and mucusy

3. Gulping, gasping and choking while nursing

4. Excessive weight gain

5. Apparent lack of "comfort" nursing

6. Discomfort when breastfeeding, sometimes so intense that baby goes on strike

7. Possible early weaning (often close to the first birthday, sometimes sooner)

Mother may experience:

1. Strong or even painful sensation when milk ejects

2. Frequent spraying of milk from one or both breasts

3. Excessive leaking

4. More than one let-down per nursing session

5. Repeated mastitis (breast infections)

But, my baby & i hasn't have all those symptoms and experience. So I search again. Until I came to one site mentioning his son poop go green just because his wife ate a banana... It was hilarious at first when I read it.

Then I tried to screen my past food consumed and made an experiment on myself... What I have eaten that week new and ordinary in my menu... And I end up finding it was "laici tin"... Hehehe... Itu rupanya yang dia x mau! :) then last two weeks again green poop... But I didn't consume any laici tin. But I do makan salted kacang tong garden brand. Then again experiment on myself... Yes! That was it... Ok new experience and new info.

Dulu x pernah jadi macam nie maybe because my daughter was not exclusively breastfeed since at nanny house there are times my bekalan susu shot and need to top up dengan formula milk. But actually was not... Saje bagi sikit... Belambak lagi ada dalam fridge. Anyway that time I was more secure in giving formula milk to her because of my penemuan my breastmilk was boiled not warmed before feeding... Abis milk tu pecah minyak... I don't know apa jadi to all the good nutritions in that milk... Was-was gak... I did tegur them. But the answer buat aku malas nak cakap lebih... "makcik dah biasa buat macam tu... dari dulu zaman "amy" kecik-kecik lagi." Because of that I thought of giving my little princess formula milk while with the nanny. I only breastfeed her before sending her to nanny & time ambil dia balik (usually in car right in front of nanny's house). Direct breastfeed jer la... Breastmilk yang dah perah tu campur dalam food dia.

Hmmm... Dah jauh menyimpang dari topik asal nie... Anyway, it is an info that I would want to share and remind of myself later if it do happens again. Hope this info will help other mommy like me. :)

Ya Allah... Tak sangka begitu rindu dengan kampung halaman... Tapi, hari raya hari nie begitu penat... Rindu kat Kg tak terpikir sekejap... Sb tetamu tak putus... Esok tak tahu lah mcm mana... Capek dah nie... Semalam tido lewat sb menyiapkan juadah raya... Ketupat palas (first time buat dan tak menjadi... Pulut terlalu lembik), rendang ayam, gulai daging, air asam, daging panggang, nasi daging, daging rebus, perut, kuih raya: blueberry tart, pineapple tart, chocolate chip, bear cookies, samperit, mazola, tart nenas gulung... Byk tak... Hubby terchenta la chef nye... Sorry la ayang yer... I tak terrer masak... Tapi mengemas & part siang2 i la orang nyer... Juga tukang dekorate... :) menyiapkan semua tu dalam sehari... Yela buat awal2 basi plak... Last-last jam 4 pagi baru bole masuk bilik... Tu pun bila masuk bilik kene layan si kecik nie plak nak main... Tiap2 malam actually time sama dia bangun and ajak main... Layaaannn... Zzzzz sampai terlena...

Ari nie start early morning... And hubby cam biasa pagi raya memang tak dapat la nak solat raya sebab juadah & persiapan menyambut tetamu belum ready... Pepagi lagi dah mandikan bebudak... Mandi & bersiap... Tidurkan DD dulu... Pasang "Powerpuff Girls" untuk BB. Pastu terus ke dapur siang sayur, ayam, daging, rendam bihun... Untuk buat bihun goreng bagi juadah pagi raya, selain ketupat, rendang & kuih-kuih. Buat air sebekas besar, susun kuih dalam balang cantik kat meja depan... Panaskan lauk2 pagi tadi... Pastu layan DD & BB, hubby continue cooking... Baru dok nak makan... Tetamu da sampai... Dan seterusnya sehingga jam 9.00 malam tadi... Baru bole landing jap. Tapi pinggan mangkuk dok berkapaq... Aih... Kene kemas dulu... Da tak larat tapi... So... Kemaskan la sikit dulu, susun2... lap2... Basuh esok pagi la... Da tak larat dah... Adik ipar pun da sakit2 kaki, hubby lagi la... Da satu badan sakit... Sb dia da 2 hari tak berenti... A day before luar dalam rumah habis dicucinya... Aku just tolong-tolong jer sebab nak buat semua yang kotor tu susah nak pegang & susukan DD plak... Hubby tak bagi pun... Bertuahnya badan dapat hubbyku terchenta nie... :) jadi, itulah kisah hari ini... Nanti upload gambar raya plak... :)

Persiapan raya dah buat sikit... Semua dapat sorang sepasang baju raya... Eh! Tak... Ayah x nak.. Mama, sepasang... Balqis, 6 pasang... Daanish, 4 pasang... Hehehe... Alhamdulillah ada jugak... Tahun nie kuih raya x beli satu pun... Sebab tahun nie buat sendiri... Walaupun hanya tukang tekap, hias & gulung... :) part buat dough & bakar hubby tercenta yang buat... Dia memang pakar masaklah... Aku da kalah... Bila la nak boleh lawan dia masak... Dulu, kurang-kurang western food aku champion... Sekarang haprak tadak... Dia buat lagi sedap... Huhuhuhu... Semua bermula dari aku pregnant baby first (Balqis) dulu... Tak dibenarkan buat sebarang kerja mahu pun hanya sekadar sapu lantai... Sebab bleeding... :(

Tahun nie dok umah mertua jadi tak der la membeli sangat... Tapi mak & ayah mertua membeli jugak la.. Nak raya kan... Carpet baru... Bunga baru... Motor baru... Aiii... Kalau bole semua nak baru bila raya nie kan...??

Tahun nie patut balik Kelantan tapi macam tak akan kesampaian jer... Walaupun da rindu nak balik & makan makanan klate... Rindu famili... Tak balik sebab mak tak sihat... Kesian pulak nak tunggal lama-lama balik raya klate... Tak tahu la lagi cam ne nie... :'(

My baby was put under blue light all day and night except during feeding time. I was feeding him for every 1-2 hours depend on demand. :) the nurse will come and called to feed the baby every time the baby cries. All the mothers has to change diapers ad feed their own baby.

After being discharged. We still need to have check-up at the clinic every day. Since then we have tried a few traditional remedies to overcome jaundice. There are many we heard of, such as feeding of goats milk, sengkuang cina, Air kundur; give bath with air tauge (bean sprout), air daun bunga raya, air daun kuchai, air nila; put on alovera on the forehead, bedak sejuk and air badak on all body and many more. We only tried feed him with air zam-zam, put alovera on his forehead and give him bath with bean sprout water.

Later we were referred to specialist clinic at the hospital to check for other problems of prolong jaundice. But the doctor has suspected as breast milk jaundice.

The service was damn slow and inefficient. The waiting time took us from 7.30am every morning and ends about 12.00 noon everytime. The counter only opens at 9.00am and consultation rooms only 2-3 rooms opened in the morning. The blood test done took time more than 2 weeks to have result. And non consistent advice from doctors.

So lastly we surrender and tuang next appointments. We decided we would go for full screen test at private hospital later. Hoping everything will go well and as his elder sister. Since his sister also could have same jaundice problems if being checked for bilirubin since birth, because his sister also have high reading of bilirubin (180) at 7th day and being feed by formula milk the first 3 days and sulam for the previous days due to not enough breast milk.

May Allah protect us and give us good health. Amin...

Here I would love to share my medical experience with a government hospital in Alor Setar, Kedah. Since, this is my first experience using the facility.I was admitted on 7th June 2011 due to water breaking. My husband send me to the hospital from our house. The journey took us about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Compared to last time labour experience, the journey from house to hospital only took 5 minutes. It was very near & short journey. My water break at 8.00am and we arrived at the hospital at about 9.20am. I was held up at registration & check-up until about 4.00pm, to get a bed in ward. My family has to wait in the waiting room since then.

My husband had ask for a husband friendly room for labour, but instead was cold treatment, high tone voice & ignored. There should be a form for patient who request the room and got to pay for RM30. There's a husband in the waiting room waiting to be called to enter the labour room with his wife. But instead not being called at all until everything was done. When was questioned, they said they already called the husband. Pitty to that guy. Bad service to the hospital. If the ward and labour room was full. Why don't they explain to the patients & family members. Why give cold treatment & stupid excuses. I was called to go to ward with family members. Then they were pushed out from ward because it was not visiting hours yet. Although it was only about half an hour lagi jer. Without explaining to us that they are not suppose to be in there other than visiting hours. We notice it after reading the notice board. Kesian my daughter...While I'm in the ward waiting for my family come to visit me during visiting hours. I saw a lady with her baby crying opposite my bed. She was struggling feeding her baby. The baby keep crying. Then I see her feeding him with plain water. That baby keep quiet for a while then start crying again. I saw her face was very sad, tension and tired. I feel sorry for her, I walk towards that lady and ask, "Kenapa dengan baby?". "Lapar, susu tak der", she replied. "Kenapa tak bagi susu formula? Tak minta kat nurse?", I said. "Nurse tak bagi minim botol. Kene bagi susu badan jugak. Dah minta tadi, tapi kene marah", she explains. "Teruknya nurse tu", I thought and I feels like want to feed her baby with my milk. Since i still have because i still feeding my elder daughter aged 2 and half years old. "Kak try la mintak lagi, cakap susu tak der dan baby lapar. Cakap tegas sikit, kalau tak diaorang ingat kita main-main", I said again. I feel pity for her and her baby. Then, a nurse came to her to check her BP and baby. Then I heard her asking the nurse as I told her. The nurse took the baby away to be feed. Alhamdulillah, good for her and baby. I see a relief face expression on her pale face. In my previous experience, newborn baby was placed in the nursery until the mom or dad requested to. The nurse will took care of the baby until the mom was ready or feeling better. During my waiting for labour. I see so many rude and not respecting for others act by the nurses towards the patients. The doctors so far is ok but most when being questioned always answering with and answer that nak lepas tanggungjawap. The facility in the hospital, I would say okey and at par with private hospital. But the treatment and layanan I would say, not friendly.I do ask about first class or single bedded room. Do they allowed family members to accompany or stayed in the room. No body is allowed in the room only patient. Others only allowed during visiting hours. Our previous experience husband & kids are allowed to stay in the single bedded room. This would be the first experience for me to deliver without my husband beside me. Since we don't get to get a husband friendly labour room. I was pushed to labour room at 3.30am. I was put on bed in labour room at about 4.00am. The room was berselerak and I was put on wire to monitor contractions and baby's heart beat. I was not prepared for delivery. What I mean was bed was separated into half and hang the leg. Based on my experience before. I thought of they assuming I would be delivering late at least hours since my opening was only 4 cm. But the I was in labour pain and delivered my baby at 4.21am without doctor attending. I was assist by a lady wearing blue suite happened to passed by my room. She was alone helping me in labour. Thank to her for fast action and good job. I asked her name and thanked her. But now I can't remember her name but I can see her face now in my head. I has delivered my baby at 4.21am. But my husband and daughter in the waiting room was not informed until I was pushed out from labour room to ward at 8.00am. Why they don't informed the family members that was waiting like hell in that room? At least if they had informed them, they can have breakfast, sleep or bath while wait for a bed in ward. Kesian orang. Especially children like my daughter which can't separate with their mommy. My husband was worried sick in the waiting room, scared of something bad had happened with a daughter to take care of.

Then I was send to ward at about 8.00am with family members accompanying. But I was put on katil lipat at a corner in front of toilet entrance. The bed was full and given to patients in needs, such as seizer labour patients, old and other worse cases. Later came a nurse and happens to be my cousin's wife to inject my baby his first injection: BCG. That's all was done and test on baby. In my past experience, baby was run full test and screen for physical and blood test. Search for abnormalities and problems. Baby was japed for BCG and HepB. Baby must be confirmed healthy before discharge from ward.

I was discharge from ward that evening. Happy that can go home since I saw my little girl are so tired although she so excited for her new baby brother was born. She already catch running nose. If I go home at least she can rest and have good sleep.

The next morning at about 8.00am, we called the local nurse desa informing that I have delivered. Later, the nurse came to house at 8.30am for check-up. The nurse will come to do check-up on mommy and baby daily from birth until 20th day. We also need to go to Klinik Kesihatan to have blood test for jaundice. We had to take baby to clinic everyday to have blood test and that every time his feet has to be poked. From out past experience there was no jaundice check-up until the 5th day of birth. On that day baru do blood test to see bilirubin level in baby's blood. The blood was taken by toreh baby's heel. They will run full test to see if any abnormalities. On third day, we skipped the blood test session sebab kesian tengok baby. On 4th day we went to clinic for blood test and the test result showing 274 bilirubin reading. We were asked to go to the hospital immediately. We were shocked and terpinga-pinga, why we have to go to the hospital.At the emergency counter, we ask why. They said, my baby has to be warded for jaundice. We don't want our baby to be warded without any explanation. We ask to see and a discussion with doctor. Then came a doctor and said we had to send the baby for warded because the hospital circular said so. That's not explanation! Then a Indian guy at the counter calm us down saying we can see and discuss with doctor at the pediatric ward before making decision to ward our baby and said there are beds for mommy's to stay and accompany my baby.At the pediatric ward, we went to see a doctor to discuss and have an explanation. But what we get the same answers, circular said so to ward if reading more than 250. And we ask for the procedure and is there any facility for breastfeeding mothers to be in. They said mothers only can come and breastfeeding their baby from 9.00am to 10.00pm and are not allowed to stay. In my head still remembered what that Indian guy had informed me earlier. I was confused. We urged and desak to have me stay in. But they refuse and said semua hospital sama jer. So we ask for time to discussed between us before making decision to ward our baby. We make a call to KMC for confirmation is it possible for mommy to stay with jaundice baby. But they said the same, baby has to leave. Because of that we decided to go on and warded our baby here. But suddenly, change of statement made. Mommy can stay with baby in ward and there is beds for mommy provided. Aik! Tadi kata tak der! Now, ada plak! I was happy with that answer, because I can stay and take care of my baby. I don't trust them after I see such attitudes for the past 5 days.So I was warded again with my baby and husband and daughter have to go home and only visits us during visiting hours. There are a few more other mother was asking for bed like I do, and they give the same answer as I was told at the first time. Sedangkan there is another two bed vacant.

My baby was taken to photo-therapy room.

We were warded for 3 days and 2 nights. To be continued...

Ok we continue the story.

After the announcement, I went out to see my hubby & Balqis. Then, we went to the canteen for food. We had nasi ayam and air bandung.

Later, I went to the same place again to continue waiting & my family waiting in the waiting room. Then at about 4.00pm a nurse called my name. Saying I got a bed. Then we followed the nurse to the ward. In the ward husbands are not allowed except for visiting hours, so does childrens. So they can see me only at 12.30pm - 2.00pm and 4.30pm - 7.30pm. So that day, they are with me from 4.30pm until 7.30pm. Before that they are not allowed, they are pushed out after sending me to ward. Still have no contraction.

Later came a doctor checking and asking a few questions. Then he ask me to sign a form for induce if there is no contraction after 12 hours from time the "waters breaking" as a procedure. My hubby also need to sign the form. After explaining the conditions and effects, I agreed and sign the form. But deep in my heart still hopping I do not need those medication (induce) since it has side effect on my baby.

At 10.00pm, I start to feel strong contractions. Which is about 15-20 minutes apart. Then at about 1.00am the contraction become stronger and I ask for checkup of the opening when the contractions are about 10 minutes apart. I ask a nurse, "Do I need any checkup? Since my contractions is already 10 minutes apart". The nurse ask me back, "Masuk sini tak kene check ker?. I replied, "Tak". That nurse I ask before doesn't came back after saying to me, she will get back to me later. Then, I asked the same questions to another nurse that came to me to check my BP. The same answer I get and no feedback.

Later, I feel the contractions getting stronger and I pushed the RED button. A nurse said to me, "Awat dah sakit sangat ka?", sambil buat muka. "Yes", I replied. Then she ask me to come to the examination room in front of their counter. The nurse said to me, "Ala baru 2cm", with muka sinis. I replied back, "Lambatnya kali nie nak bersalin," in sarcastic voice tone.

The nurse are very rude and has no respect of others. Making fun of me in pain. As if, aku jer yang tak than sakit & mengada-ngada. I hate what they did to me. I just keep quiet in my bed and pray to Allah for safety and smooth delivery.

Later, at about 3.00am I feel the contraction & pain that I can't speak off. And I just keep quite in my bed coz I don't want to face that same situation again. Then a nurse came to me and ask me, "Sakit dah ker?". I just nod. She ask me wether I can walk to examination room or not. I nod again. In my heart, "Alhamdulillah, Allah temukan aku dengan nurse ini". She checked and it's already 4 cm. Then she said I will be pushed to labour room now. She ask me to bring along baby's clothes and my begs, also to inform my hubby.

My hubby arrive about 15 minutes later with my daughter. They were waiting for me in the car at car park behind the hospital. The nurses were still chit-chatting, while I'm in wheelchair and hubby & daughter beside me. Then, hubby ask, "Ini macam mana? Nak saya tolak ke labour room ke?", a sarcastic question was trown. Then, baru nak bergerak. They pushed me to labour room at about 3.30am. Hubby & daughter was asked to wait in the waiting room.

I was arrived at delivery room section at about 3.45am. In the labour room section, I was put in front of registration counter for about 10-15 minutes. Then, I was pushed to a labour room and put me on bed. They put on wire to monitor contractions & baby's heart beat. The room seems to be "berselerak" belum berkemas. Later, still struggling in pain. Suddenly, feels great pain and like baby is coming out. I search for RED button. But there's none. While I hold on. I search for somebody passing by, also nobody. Later, I see on lady in blue suite passing by, I called and said, "sakit! Nak bersalin". That lady was panic and rushing get me ready for labour. I was not being prepared before. Maybe they assume I will not deliver this sudden. I heard she ask me, "Rasa nak berak ke?". "Nak keluar!", I replied. In seconds, I feel like baby gone out and feeling my tummy empty, after gush of water. Then heard baby's cry and she hold up the baby in front of my face to confirm baby sex and put a tag. I saw the wall clock showing it's 4.30am. Another nurse came and take my baby out of the room. She continue to take off the "uri" out. Then stitched me. She done stitching at about 5.00am. At 5.30am a nurse came in with my baby to be breastfeed. My baby suck his first milk. Alhamdulillah, again Allah meets me with this experience & nice lady to help me deliver. At 6.00am a doctor came to check my baby. I was on labour room bed until 8.00am, waiting for an empty bed. But not regular bed, "katil lipat" at a corner in front of toilet door. The ward was full.

Later, we were discharge at 5.30pm although my baby still didn't poo. This is due to not enough bed and good health condition of both of us. Alhamdulillah... Boleh balik. Cian Balqis & hubby doesn't have proper sleep & meal. Balqis pun dah nak demam da, sebab tak cukup rehat.

It all begins with wet event on one silent and cozy morning... Hehehe... About 8.00am (7th June 2011). Well, my water broke on my bed one morning. I didn't realise it, until my dear hubby came home from pasar buying our breakfast. He came to me and said, "are you peeing on bed?". I replied, "no lah!". Hubby: "abis apasal basah?". me: "ha? Basah?". Hubby: "Cuba awak rasa katil tu". Alamak, memang basahlah... Tak kan aku kencing kot? Dalam mimpi? Ke air ketuban aku pecah?. I replied: "ayang, air ketuban pecah kot?". Then I ask him to reconfirm that water color, smell & feel. He then confirm back that it is clear & no smell. I was thinking of articles that I read before about labour. I said to my self, confirmla nie air ketuban aku dah pecah. Then I stood up beside my bed to change clothes to go to hospital. "Bruuushh...", more water came out & nothing I can do... Mak aih! Banyak nyer air... Banjir abis bilik... Terpaksala pakai tuala. Tuala means tuala mandi yang besar guna untuk lap badan after mandi... Sebab banyak sangat air turun... Pakai pad tak layak dah kalau macam nie... My dear hubby dah panic, he called nurse to reconfirm of what had happened. I just said to him, "Jom pergi hospital. Tapi tak sakit lagi...". He was rushing taking Balqis for a bath & getting ready to go to hospital. Taking all the things we need.

All the way my hubby's face was in panic & worry. I tried to comfort him & ask him to drive slow, because I don't feel the baby is coming out yet, because there was no pain at all. Just my back pain since starting of second trimester. He was mumbling on the road condition and unethical car drivers that cutting queues and drive like orang mabuk. Balqis, doesn't stop asking, "mama, kita nak gi mana?". Me: "Kita nak gi hospital, adik baby da nak keluar. Nanti Balqis dok ngan ayah ok? Sebab doktor tak bagi budak-budak masuk tempat mama masuk. Ok?". She replied, "Ok", with a smiling face. I was hopping everything will be ok, since Balqis is still breastfeed and very attach to me. And thinking, how Balqis will going to sleep at night without breastfeed & I'm sure she will be sad & cranky because we had to be saperated. Napela hospital tak benarkan anak & hubby tinggal je dalam bilik wad tu? kalau dok wad satu bilik. The journey took us about 45 minutes from our house. Jauhkan? Alhamdulillah, Tuhan tak bagi aku sakit bersalin macam Balqis dulu.

At the emergency lounge Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah. Hubby went to get a wheelchair for me. Then he push me to second floor the delivery section, with Balqis walking beside my wheelchair. At the registration counter, hubby was asking for husband friendly labour room. I was pushed for examination. Inside, the nurse came to check my BP & baby condition. I was informed that my bukaan is 2cm. Then a young doctor came for checking. She said that my baby is sleeping... Memang time tido pun. Then, they try to wake the baby... By tolak baby on my tummy... But baby keep sleeping. Then she tried to usik my baby's head by inserting her hand. My baby move up moving away from her. I don't feel good about this, and I don't feel the necessity of doing that. If the baby doesn't want to go out wet why forcing? Even I don't feel any pain nor contraction. Why? But who am I to argue... What I can do only pray to Allah for our safety. That's what I did since I know I was pregnant. Because I heard a lot of negative stories about hospital kerajaan. I was examine & experiment (I would say) about 3 hours. Then I was ask for blood take and wait to be called for ward.

Then came a young guy doctor for blood take. Alhamdulillah, tak sakit and he manage to fine my vein kat lengan. Tak macam time pregnant kat Klinik kesihatan, nurse amik darah tak pernah dapat jumpa, pastu last-last amik kat atas tangan. Kali pertama cucuk berkali-kali.. Sakit wei... Second time, I cakap terus kat lengan susah cari amik jer kat atas tangan. Sebab tak mau jadi cam hari tu sakit. Nurse lain pulak amik darah... Katanya nurse besar, apa term diorang pakai ek, aku lupa plak... Ok kot aku pikir, tak sakit.. tapi tekaan aku meleset sama sekali... Bukan sahaja sakit, tangan aku lebam & bengkak sebab amik darah. Apala dia buat kat aku. Teruk betul... Pastu bila tanya, kenapa jadi cam tu... Jawapan tak menjawap soalan langsung! Jawapan mengelak dari tanggungjawap jer. "sebab puan tak tekan kapas kuat-kuat lepas amik darah tu." Sedap jer dia jawap... Sama jer aku tekan setiap kali amik darah, nie bukan pertama kali. Siot jer!

For All the Mothers Out There

Most of the time I take this for granted, but I am truly blessed to be working where I am. Sure, the long hours, the lack of sleep, the constant worry that I'll screw up and kill somebody have taken their toll on me, but I also get to see miracles. Miracles of life, miracles of death, miracles of recovery when the prognosis is bleak. Above all these, however, is the miracle of mothers who love their children unconditionally.

I have conducted deliveries before, and I have performed Cesarean Sections. Not many people can say the same. Even so, I cannot even imagine, much less comprehend the agony a mother goes through during childbirth. But it doesn't stop there. A mother willingly sacrifices a part of herself to raise her children, to protect them, to nurture them, to prepare them for a brighter future than what she has.

So what brought about this sudden appreciation to mothers? Almost a month ago I operated on a young lady who was a road-traffic accident victim. Her brain injury was severe, and I didn't think she'd ever wake up, much less function normally again. Her mother was hovering by her side, tears threatening to escape her eyes, gaze darting about when not focusing on her daughter. Before we wheeled the patient in, we let the mother kiss her. She needed to do it. She kept on whispering the same words over again, like a chant. A mantra. And her voice broke; she cried. Then she looked at me, her eyes sharp. "Selamatkan anak saya, doktor," she pleaded. Save my daughter, doctor.

I ended up doing two surgeries on the patient, the latter a major life-saving procedure. Every single day after the first encounter, the mother would run up to me whenever she saw me, asking how her daughter was. I even had to use a different route to get to the ICU because I had nothing new to tell her, and that was breaking my heart.

Four days later, the patient woke up. She was unable to speak, but she obeyed commands. When I found this out, both the parents were by the patient's bedside, and they thanked me profusely. I still don't know why they did; I only did my part, my job, standard surgeries for head-injury patients. The patient woke up all by herself, with the help of her mother, who stayed by her side every chance she got, who held her hands and whispered words only a mother and her daughter would understand, who in her eyes, a grown woman had become her newborn baby once again.

That afternoon I sat back and watched as the mother showed the patient family photos, cooed her to lift an arm, coaxed her to sip from a straw. She used gentle words, kind words, words a mother typically use to persuade a toddler to take his medicine. And every day after that, she approached me to inform me how her daughter was recuperating.

Then there was another instance last night. I was reviewing a patient who was waiting for surgery when I overheard a lady instructing the nurse to do this and that for her son. The nurse, a new(ish) staff, was at a loss. After reviewing my patient, I took a quick look at the other patient, whose mother was making a fuss. He was one of my patients when he had been in the ICU, a teenager, another road-traffic accident victim. The collar he wore was three sizes too big, and for his injury, it was as good as not wearing a collar at all. I asked the nurse to get one of a proper size from the ICU. When the mother saw me instructing the nurse, she bombarded me with questions and demands. I wasn't in a hurry, so I stood opposite her, with the semi-conscious patient between us, and answered her questions the best I could.

After a few minutes, her voice quavered, and she struggled to keep herself from crying. While caressing the boy's face, she told me that she had never gone through this before. She left the sentence hanging, open-ended. I knew what her silence indicated. She was afraid, she was worried sick, she wanted for her son to wake up again. That moment, she stopped becoming a demanding family member, and revealed herself as a mother who felt helpless for not being able to do anything for her son. I didn't have the heart to confirm her fears; part of me is still wishing he will wake up soon.

Throughout my short years in Neurosurgery, I bore witness to mothers taking care of their comatose children. I even published a story along this line. They don't seem to care if their children will never wake up, so long as they get to care for them. Among my most heart-wrenching experiences: telling a mother that her son or daughter had just passed away. It never gets easier. In fact, the more I learn in this field, the harder it gets. What if our best wasn't good enough?

To top it off, whenever I go through such instances, I think about my own mother, how lost I will be if I ever lose her. I get angry when she complains of new pains and aches; those are signs of aging, and she's not supposed to age. She's supposed to be here for all eternity. She's always wistful when she talks about wanting high pillars at the porch, but what she doesn't realize is that she already is one, the single strong pillar in my life, in the lives of my siblings.

For all the times I've broken her heart, for all the times I've made her cry, I hope my mother knows how blessed Kasha, Faiz and I are to have her.

For making me what I am today, I love you, Mama.

BUBUR LAMBUK TERENGGANU

Bahan-bahan:

2 cawan beras [rendamkan dulu dan rebuskan sehingga menjadi bubur]
1/2 kg keledek [warna merah/jingga]...potong kecil
1 s/b lada hitam
2 cm. halia
5 ulas bawang merah
5 tangkai pucuk ubi
5 tangkai daun cekur manis
1 ikat daun paku merah
1 ikat pucuk paku hijau
5 pokok kangkong
2 tangkai dan kadok
4 tangkai daun kesom
4 tangkai daun kemangin
1 helai daun kunyit
1 cawan udang basah saiz kecil [tak der pun tak per]
2 ekor ikan kembung [bakar dan ambil isi]
air secukupnya
garam

Cara masak:

1. Semua sayuran dipotong, basuh dan toskan.
2. Tumbuk lada hitam hingga lumat, setelah itu masukkan 10 ulas bawang merah, halia dan tumbuklah lagi sehingga lumat bersama isi ikan tadi.
3. Masukkan keledek dan bahan-bahan yang telah ditumbuk tadi bersama ikan yg dihancurkan kedalam bubur nasi tadi.
4. Masukkan udang dan kacau sehingga rata.
5. Bila sudah hampir untuk diangkat, masukkan sayur-sayura & garam secukupnya sambil dikacau hingga cukup rata dan sayur layu.
6. Angkat dan hidangkan.

Counting baby's kicks

Starting this week i got to count my baby's kick or movements. But this time the nurse ask me to count differently. I'm a bit confuse, when she ask me to count from 9.00am till 9.00pm for 10 kicks. And she says the baby should kick once in and hour. But if the baby isn't kicking any within 2 hours contact the nearest clinic or go to the hospital. So i desided to surf the web and look for answers. And here are some explaination that i have found.

1. What is kick counting?

The occurrence of frequent baby movements during pregnancy is an excellent indicator of fetal well-being. The first fetal movements or "flutters" are usually felt by the mother between the 16th and the 20th week of pregnancy. Movements generally increase in strength and frequency through pregnancy, particularly at night, and when the woman is at rest. At the end of pregnancy (36 weeks and beyond), there is normally a slow change in movements, with fewer jabs and more rolling and stretching movements.

Kick count is the maternal counting and tracking of fetal movement. Medical research supports kick count as a simple, valuable, effective, reliable and harmless screening of fetal well-being during the third trimester in both low- and high-risk pregnancies.

Kick count is fetal movement counting which includes kicks, turns, twists, swishes, rolls, and jabs but not hiccups. Significant changes in the fetal movement pattern may help identify potential problems with your pregnancy that may need further evaluation and treatment before the baby's heart rate is affected. In this way, it can help prevent stillbirth.

There are different ways to do kick counting. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends that you note the time it takes to feel 10 kicks, twists, turns, swishes, or rolls. A healthy baby should have 10 movements in less than 2 hours. Most babies will take less than 30 minutes. Some providers may recommend that if there have not been 10 kicks in 1 hour, you should contact your provider for further evaluation.

2. Why is doing kick counting important?

Be Proactive. You are proactive in protecting the well being of your baby by going to routine prenatal care visits and doing routine tests to detect and prevent possible pregnancy complications.

You can continue the commitment to your baby's health by being vigilant of his or her movement. Dedicate typically less than 30 minutes a day to do the kick count!

Get to know your baby. Even if your baby is very active, doing the kick count will allow you to be familiar with the "normal" pattern of your baby and thus you can more easily detect the gradual or sudden changes in the pattern of your baby's movements.

Bond with your baby. You will only feel those precious movements, kicks, jabs, swish, and rolls while the baby is inside of you. Kick counting provides a special time when you can bond with the baby. It is also the time for your partner to share this unique experience with you.

Most importantly, significant changes in the fetal movement pattern may help identify potential problems with your pregnancy before the baby's heart rate is affected.

Talk with your obstetrical provider about kick counting instructions.

3. What do we know about being aware of fetal movements?

Scientific studies over the last 40 years have shown that fetal movement is the best indicator of your baby's well-being. Learn more in the white paper.

4. What is considered a high-risk pregnancy?

Some women are considered to have high-risk pregnancies requiring close monitoring because of certain medical and obstetrical conditions including:
Post-term pregnancy
Oligohydramnios or polyhydramnios (Too little or too much amniotic fluid)

- Fetal growth problems
- Multiple pregnancy (two or more fetuses)
- Placental problems
- Previous stillbirth
- High blood pressure
- Diabetes
- Kidney or heart disease

High-risk pregnancies are at risk for serious complications including stillbirth. By tracking and recording your baby's movement changes and alerting your obstetrician to these changes, tests can be performed to detect problems and timely interventions can be instituted.

5. My baby is always active, why should I do the kick count?

Setting aside time to count the kicks allows you time to rest and bond with your baby. Even when the baby is always active, daily counting will allow you to notice the significant difference in the baby's movement pattern. Your obstetrical provider can be notified of these changes to see whether further evaluation is warranted.

6. Why do I need to count my baby's kicks when I can hear their heartbeat with a Doppler device?

Kick counting allows you to monitor the baby's movements as an indicator of fetal well-being. The significant change in the fetal movement may identify potential problems before actual changes in the heart rate can be detected. By the time the heart slows or stops, it may be too late.

7. When do I start doing a kick count?

Kick count can be performed once a day during the time when your baby is most active. This is typically after meals, after physical activity, or in the evening.

Your obstetrical provider may ask you to start daily kick counting at 24 -26 weeks if you have a high risk pregnancy. Otherwise, kick counting can begin at 28 weeks in a normal pregnancy.

8. How do I perform a kick count?

There are different ways to do the kick count. Be sure discuss kick counting with your provider. One of the most common methods recommended by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) is counting the time it takes for your baby to make 10 movements which include kicks, turns, twists, swishes, rolls and jabs. Your baby should move 10 times in less than 2 hours.

- Do the kick count once a day.
Select a time of the day best suited for you when your baby is usually active. For most women, fetal movement typically peaks after meals, after activity, and in the evening.

- Do the kick count roughly at the same time every day.
Get in a comfortable sitting or lying position. Relax and dedicate this time to feel your baby's precious movements.

- You may want to rest your or your partner's hands on your abdomen to feel the movements better. Your ability to feel the baby depends on the thickness of your abdominal wall, placental location, and your sensitivity to the movements.

- Jot down the time of the baby's first kick (movement) and the time of the 10th kick. Most of the babies will take much less than 30 minutes to complete 10 kicks.

- Since healthy babies have sleep cycles, your baby may not kick, or kick less than usual, or have less than 10 kicks in 2 hours. If so, wake up the baby by drinking fluid or by walking for 5 minutes. Repeat the kick count.

- Contact your provider or the labor and delivery room if the there is still decreased fetal movement or if there is a significant change in the movements.

- Some providers may recommend that if there have not been 10 kicks in one hour, you should contact your provider for further evaluation.

- Discuss with your provider about kick counting instructions.

9. How can I record my kick counting sessions?

You can use the kickTrakT or you can jot down the time it takes to count 10 movements on a blank sheet of paper or a kick count chart.

10. What is considered normal kick count?

Most healthy babies should take less than 2 hours for 10 kicks.

- Every baby is different.

- Keeping track of kick counting sessions will allow you to know what is "normal" for your baby.

- Notify your provider if your baby has not moved 10 times in 2 hours or the baby has sustained significant changes.

11. When do I contact my obstetrical provider?

Call your provider if your baby has less than 10 movements in 2 hours.

- Call your provider if your baby has a significant or sudden change in movements.

- Do not wait for 24 hours when there is no fetal movement or significant changes in the movements.

- When in doubt, contact your provider.

12. Do babies kick less near the end of pregnancy?

NO! Towards the end of pregnancy, the baby may move differently, less kicks and more rolling. However, a kick count should take about the same time when it is done at the same time of the day when your baby is most active.

13. What should I do if I cannot feel my baby move?

If you cannot feel the baby move, drink a glass of juice or cold water or walk around for a few minutes then start counting again.

14. What would your provider do when you report decreased fetal movement?

Your provider may advise you to go to his/her office or to hospital for further fetal monitoring tests. The evaluation may include:

- Ultrasound - taking pictures from sound waves to evaluate the growth of the baby, amniotic fluid quantity, placenta, blood flow pattern etc.

- Non stress test (NST) -Baby's heart rate monitoring in response to its own movements

- Biophysical profile (BPP) -using an ultrasound exam with a non stress test (NST) to evaluate baby's heart rate, breathing, body movement, muscle tone, and amniotic fluid quantity

- Contraction stress test (CST) -Baby's heart rate monitoring in response to uterine contractions

If you have been asked to keep a record of your baby's movements, an easy and organized way to do it is by using a kick count chart. Download a weekly kick count chart here!

The kick count is an easy, non-invasive test that you can do at home to check your baby's well-being. The idea is to be sure he or she is moving around enough -- if not, it can be a sign offetal distress, and you need to contact your caregiver or hospital immediately.

Try to schedule the kick count during your baby's most active time of day, but also a time when you will be able to record movements over four or more hours, if needed. You will need to record movements starting from the same time each day.

You may want to have a snack or meal before starting -- as you probably have noticed, food often makes your baby active.

Alternatively, try a few minutes of exercise or take a brisk walk.

After a quick visit to the bathroom, lie down on your side (left is best) or relax in a chair or on a sofa. Be sure you have a clock in view, and note on the kick count chart what time you start to record movements.

Pay attention to each of your baby's movements. Record the number of minutes it takes for the baby to move the specified number of times. (Kick count specifics vary from practitioner to practitioner -- talk with your healthcare provider. Usually you're asked to record at least 10 kicks/movements within a four- to six-hour window of time.) When the baby has completed the required number of movements, put an X in the box corresponding to that time.

What to expect when you are 23rd week pregnant. Here are some info I found in everydayhealth.com and I always refer to babycentre.com there are alot of info there... Good luck in finding your questions answer... ;)

Your Body

Yes, the baby you're expecting is cozily ensconced in your abdomen — yet, by now you've probably noticed that pregnancy affects you head to toe, and pretty much everywhere in between. Your head is fuzzy (this is your brain…this is your brain on progesterone), and your toes (well, your feet, at least) are growing. Stretch marks are blooming in vibrant shades of pink and purple on pretty much every available surface of skin and…wait! What's that funky dark line running down the center of your belly?

Believe it or not, it's called the "dark line" — or as your practitioner likes to call it, linea nigra. A common emblem of pregnancy (more noticeable in darker skinned women), the linea nigra, which runs between your belly button and your pubic area, is caused by the same pregnancy hormones that cause all the skin discolorations you might be noticing. Like the darker shade of your areolas. And the deeper tone of the freckles on your arms and legs.

Some women (again, more often darker-skinned ones) notice discoloration on the face too, especially in the area around the nose, forehead, cheeks, and eyes. It's called the mask of pregnancy (or chloasma) because it appears as a mask-like configuration on the face. Rest assured, you won't be playing masquerade for much longer. All these skin discolorations will fade within a few months after delivery. In the meantime, bring on the concealer (though not the bleaching creams, which won't work anyway).

Your Baby

At eight inches and slightly over a pound, your baby is the size and shape of a small doll. (But then, you already knew that you were carrying a living doll, didn't you?) This week marks the beginning of some serious weight gain. Your baby's weight in the next four weeks alone should double (and you may feel as though yours is too).

You have probably heard your developing baby's heartbeat through a Doppler a number of times already (though you never get tired of hearing it), but by now you can also hear it through a standard stethoscope. What a heart throb!

Your baby's skin is reddish in color now because of the developing blood vessels underneath (remember, the skin is very thin still). It also hangs loosely from his or her little body at this point. That's because the skin grows faster than the fat develops during fetal growth. But don't worry. By the time your baby is born, he or she will be pleasantly plump and filled out — from chubby cheeks to chubby toes.

So far my baby is actively kicking at night, early morning & late evening. I'm currently sleeping in various position (constantly changing) coz it start to cramp or in pain if I'm in the same position for some time. So at this time I am currently not sleeping enough... :)

Pening, loya & muntah bole kata da hilang. But I can't eat fish, the smells are too strong and the taste are making me want to vomit. Mmm.. Macam-macam ragamla... And I crave for meat base food almost all the time.... Burger, sausage, sup tulang, steak, lamb chop, and so on.

As always, start my second trimester... I would be difficult to sleep coz of back acne, no define sleep position, frequent urination, lenguh2 badan, skin pigmentation, gatal2 & less sleep.

This trimester starts all the excitement when my baby start actively moving & kicking, although for the first few weeks only me can feel it. :)

Hope everything will go well and fine. May Allah protect and lead us the best way in overcome all coming problems... Amin.

Hard disc crash!!!

Argh...!!!! One of our storage hard disc just crash... It just doesn't powered up... (2 weeks ago). Abis all our anime collections went gone... Cian hubby... Hilang sekelip mata jer all his hardwork for about belasan tahun... Nak collect again... Frust already...

Then, I was transferring n organizing files in another storage hard disc of all our photo collection. Then TNB power went down! my hard disc crash!!! Damn abis semua gambar wedding.. Balqis from born till now lost!!

Hubby tak tido malam trying to save those data.... Using all his knowledge n computers we have... He discovered a method from a friend and try it. So far he had retrieved some of the files although had some file can't be read and still working on it till today. Alhamdulillah, hopefully we could recover all the files without any other problems.... Amin...

Here some info i would like to share with. I was informed during my second pregnancy last time, Ihave an introvert uterus or bahasa pasar "rahim terbalik". Then the doctor said and that is why you keep having back pain during your period and during pregnancy. mmm... that's explains a lot for my discomfort for these past years. During my first pregnancy the doctor didn't notice, I think this is due to the uterus have move foward coz of baby, since I start seeing the doctor after my pregnancy was 5 month. But the second pregnancy I have start seeing doctor since pregnancy a few weeks. there at that time she spot it. but that pregnancy were not permenant. I've miscariage last July at about 3 month pregnancy. here are some information regarding our uterus.....

A retroverted uterus is the name given to a uterus that is tilted backwards inside of the pelvis. Normally, women are born with a uterus that is located in a straight up and down position inside of the pelvis, or with a uterus that tips slightly forwards, towards the stomach. However, some women have a uterus that tilts backwards, pointing towards the spine. Commonly referred to as a tipped uterus, this condition affects more than 20% of women worldwide. Generally associated with no health complications, a retroverted uterus can occasionally cause painful symptoms or signal an underlying health disorder.

What Causes a Retroverted Uterus?

In the vast majority of women with retroverted uteruses, causes are completely genetic. Many women are simply born with a uterus that is tipped in this position, and this is entirely normal. However, certain factors can cause a uterus that is in a normal placement to become retroverted. These causes include:

Pregnancy: During pregnancy, the uterus becomes enlarged and the ligaments that hold the uterus in place become weakened. As a result, many women find that their uterus becomes retroverted after they have delivered their babies.

Menopause: During menopause, estrogen levels drop rapidly in women. As with pregnancy, this can cause the ligaments that hold the uterus in place to weaken, allowing it to slip into a retroverted position.

Reproductive Health Problems: Certain reproductive health issues, including pelvic inflammatory disease and endometriosis can cause the uterus to tilt backwards. This is because these illnesses can lead to scar tissue formation on the inside of the abdomen, forcing the uterus out of position.

What are the Symptoms of a Retroverted Uterus?

Generally, the majority of women suffering from a retroverted uterus experience no symptoms. However, if symptoms do present, the two most commonly-occurring symptoms include:

pain during sexual intercourse, particularly vaginal intercourse (dyspareunia)
pain during menstruation (dysmenorrhea)

This pain and discomfort is the result of pressure that the retroverted uterus places on the rectum and the ligaments around the tailbone.

Rare symptoms associated with a retroverted uterus include:

lower back pain
increased number of urinary tract infections
incontinence
pain while using tampons
fertility difficulties
Diagnosing a Retroverted Uterus

If you are experiencing symptoms of a retroverted uterus, you may want to make an appointment with your health care provider for an examination. By performing a few simple tests, your health care provider can easily diagnose the condition. Diagnosis usually consists of:

a pelvic exam
an abdominal ultrasound

Occasionally, it is difficult to differentiate a retroverted uterus from a pelvic tumor. In this case, your health care provider may have to perform a rectovaginal exam.

Are There Any Health Complications Associated with a Retroverted Uterus?

Few women with retroverted uteruses experience health complications as a result of their condition. However, sometimes a retroverted uterus can be a warning sign of another underlying reproductive issue, including pelvic inflammatory disease or endometriosis. Be sure to contact your health care provider if you are experiencing:

severe abdominal or pelvic pain
irregular menstrual periods
irregular ovulation or infertility

If left untreated, these conditions can have dangerous effects on your reproductive organs and overall health.

Will A Retroverted Uterus Affect Fertility?

Many women who have a retroverted uterus worry that it will affect their future fertility. However, this condition does not appear to affect conception in any way, and most women with retroverted uteruses will go on to experience healthy pregnancies. If you are experiencing difficultiesgetting pregnant, it could be a sign of an underlying reproductive problem. Be sure to contact your health care provider for assistance.

Treatment for A Retroverted Uterus

If your retroverted uterus is causing you a lot of pain or discomfort, you may want to consider treatment for the condition. Treatment options include:

Exercises: Women can perform knee-to-chest exercise in order to encourage the uterus to slip back into its proper place. Unfortunately, this tends to be a temporary solution for the problem.

Pessaries: A pessary is a plastic device that is worn inside of the vagina. It helps to support the uterus in the proper position. However, these devices can only be worn in the short term because of the risk for developing a vaginal infection.

Surgery: Surgery for a retroverted uterus is available. Known as the UPLIFT procedure, this procedure works to reposition the uterus by cutting and shortening the ligaments that support it. UPLIFT is alaparoscopic surgery that is performed with the aid of a small camera.

Can a tipped uterus prevent pregnancy?

Typically a tipped uterus is only thought to be the cause of infertility after all other possible reasons for fertility problems have been ruled out. Your doctor might recommend a uterine suspension or UPLIFT procedure if there is no other explanation for your fertility problems. However, this is not common.

How can a tipped uterus affect my pregnancy?

Usually between the 10th -12th week of pregnancy, your uterus will no longer be tipped or "backwards." This should cause no difficulty for the pregnancy or for labor and birth. If the uterus does not move into a "middle" position, miscarriage can occur, but this is very rare.

Will it affect my pregnancy?

A retroverted or tipped uterus is just another normal variation in the position of a woman's uterus. About 20% of women have a uterus that is naturally retroverted. That is, leaning backwards towards the spine, rather than forwards to rest above the bladder (called anteverted). You may have been told you have a retroverted uterus by a caregiver during an internal examination, or after having a pap test. The uterus is a mobile organ suspended by ligaments and can move from being at the front to the back or visa versa.

Occasionally a retroverted uterus may be caused because it is held down in this position by scar tissue after an infection or because of endometriosis. This may cause a woman to have pain with sex or more painful periods and sometimes fertility problems. These conditions need to be investigated by a gynaecologist.

Will it affect my pregnancy?

A retroverted uterus generally does not affect a woman's pregnancy. After about 12 weeks of pregnancy the uterus grows with the unborn baby, up and out of the pelvis like any other pregnancy. From this point on it sits in exactly the same position as a uterus that started off being anteverted (leaning forward).

In extremely rare cases, it has been known for the growing uterus to be inhibited from growing out of the woman's pelvis by her normally protruding lower spine (or sacrum). The medical term for this is an incarcerated uterus. If this happens, the woman may start complaining of some pain and being unable to pass urine, usually at about 12 to 14 weeks of pregnancy. The caregiver may recommend being admitted to hospital and having a catheter passed into the bladder (to allow the urine to escape), as well as doing some pelvic rocking on your hands and knees to help release the uterus from the pelvis. These treatments are usually effective within hours or perhaps a few days.

Hhhmmm... Todays event went ok although there few things can be improve for next time. I'm lost in searching for masjid in subang jaya near subang parade... Hahaha tula orang jarang merewang... Jalan pun tak tau... Dah jalan baru plak. I've wasted about an hour searching for the right road. Since and maybe because of that, better of or we should have gathered at USJ 8 mosque instead (depan balai polis USJ 8), it is nearer, more convenient for people with small children (like me) and NO TRAFIC JAM. "because we got lost" we arrive early and good thing is we could gathered other family member that had arrived earlier, while waiting for the rest of rombongan. Pengantin lewat berarak since the rest of rombongan still haven't arrived. After all had arrived, the arakan and kompang di palu... Mmm... Balqis seronok... That is her first time see and hear kompang. She was so excited and goyang badan while pointing and telling me, " Mama, nyanyi!". At the front of dewan door, "aekum", said balqis. (assalamualaikum = aekum). This little one was so excited sampai tak nak makan. Haiii... Anak Mama nie... Dah la badan dok berbahang mcm nak demam dari semalam. We thought of she was exhousted and tired coz of less sleep and rest, this is due to no day nap and about full day travelling. Hopefully tomorrow she will recover by herself after good rest and sleep. Kaki nie pun da lenguh and sakit sb banyak sangat jalan... Sb try to be unofficial photographer. Mmm.. Tak der pun gambar ngan pengantin... Nanti nak Mintak la gambar tu semua, nak wat kenangan. "ingat tau mintak sekali kad jemputan 2 keping". Hehehe.... Overall event went smooth except for bunga telur (hand gift) lupa diedarkan kepada tetamu (ahli keluarga). Sepanjang event after makan beradap, balqis sibuk main bunga tabur-tabur. Excited ramai sangat budak-budak. And now sleeping soundly exhousted. Tahniah to all for the great event! Nana you look gorgeouse! Hahaha... Kembang la tu... ;)

Raya 2010

Tahun nie, raya kat Kedah... Tapi rasa cam tak raya sb tak pergi beraya pun... Dah la balik kampung pada pagi raya sb kerja 1 day before. Mak pulak tak sihat... Kaki bengkak lagi & demam + muntah... Makan minum pun tak lalu... Dah la aku sekeluarga aku ni tengah sibuk nak pindah barang sb tuan rumah dah sibuk nak jual rumah... Esok da nak balik kl sambung mengemas kat sana plak... Hari Khamis nie lori datang nak mengangkut dah.... Tahun 2008 aku tak beraya... Sb pregnant, aku tak leh travel jauh bleeding. Tahun 2009 raya best! Sb raya kedua-dua belah, raya kat KB & kedah. Mmm.. Entah macam mana la raya tahun depan plak... Hopefully ada rezeki lebih & boleh raya. ;)

Serius tak der mood nak kerja dah… raya dah dekat tapi kene kerja… pastu ada pulak orang bangang suruh standby perpindahan pada petang kamis nie (09.09.10)… tak reti-reti ker hari tu kan setiap tahun orang half day balik raya… sapela nak kerja lagi dah time-time tu… semua dah nak balik raya la…. Entahla.. menyampah dah… makin hari makin menyampah… blah jer la… arrgghh…. Apa la nak jadi dengan office aku nie… lantak lah.. Ade aku kesah…?

Sorrylah banyak pulak luahan hati tak puas hati… J

mmm… sekarang memang aku dah tak der mood nak kerja… RAYA MOOD dah!!! Biskut raya sebijik pun tak beli.. sb kurang bajet tahun nie… baju raya sorang sepasang mama & balqis jer.. ayah tak nak sb tak der bajet cian ayah.. kain dah beli tapi tak jahit… L teruk betul rasa tahun nie raya.. tapi SYUKURLAH aku masih tidak seteruk orang lain yang langsung tak der apa-apa… sob..sob.. tak der ker orang bagi aku hadiah ker hamper kuih raya… sb aku dah tak der kuih @ biskut raya tahun nie…? Tak der pun tak per lah… aku paw mak mertua aku punyer kuih & biskut raya lah… hahahaha.. teruk betul dapat menantu cam aku nie… dah la tak reti masak… paw pulak.. 2. Start to explore new alternative doing thing.
Eg: nak ambil barang jatuh bawah meja & capai dengan tangan tak sampai, she will take other things untuk capai benda tu or nak ambil benda on high cabinet or table, she will take anything such as cushions, small chair or box for her to climb up.

3. She can play masak-masak & pondok-pondok with her teddy bears with set periuk I just bought.

4. She can partly dress herself - try pakai stokin, kasut, seluar & baju by herself.

Lately nie memang selalu teringin nak baby lagi…. Seronok bila tengok Balqis seronok tengok baby and even baby picture… she will be very excited and telling me in her own language yang kadang2 boleh faham but bila banyak sangat dia nak cerita I can’t catch anything.. hehehehe… but I know she really love and excited about babies. Everyday when I fetch her from her nanny’s house she will tell stories about newborn baby (the nanny’s daughter’s child – tengah berpantang kat situ). She will tell me everything what that baby was doing… baby tido, baby mandi, baby yak (poop), baby tutu (minum susu) and so on… mmm… hopefully I’ll be conceive again soon. J

Hand, foot, and mouth disease

Last month, Balqis was infected with HFMD viral from her nanny’s house. Not sure the virus came from either from one of the children or the neighbors infected children. But the virus spread so fast. First I had notice was red rashes, itchy (she was complaining “atai” (gatal) appear at buttocks area (19^th July 2010). Then the next day (20^th July 2010), she’s crying while pooping. In my mind, thinking… “tak kan nanny nie tak perasan anak aku berak dan tak tukar lampin anak aku sampai merah-merah…, tak kan tak sempat nak tukar sb ada budak demam. Abis nak biar anak aku plak sakit?” Pelik jugak… Next day (21^st July 2010), one of the boys had high fever and muntah-muntah with rashes all over body. Her mom called me and informed her child could be infected by HFMD and she was on the way to see pediatrician. If it was confirmed she will ring me and I had to take Balqis home for precaution. Takut berjangkit… Then I had my phone ring, and to my worries… it was confirmed and that boy should be warded coz of dehydration. I took time-off since it’s already 5.00pm. Rush to nanny’s house hopping Balqis still not infected. When I arrive and see Balqis… I knew I was too late to protected her from infected, because of red blister rash had appear around her mouth and hands. Well at least I knew early before it gets worse. I quickly went back home and bring her to see doctor for medication and some advice to take care of her. Instead of the advice from doctor, I also search the internet for supporting info. I have gone trough few websites:

The virus infection was spread fast. That day all the children there, was infected by HFMD. From this day (22^nd July 2010) onwards I was on EL (emergency leave) for 5 days. During those days, I tried my best to make sure her fever doesn’t hike up, she drinks a lot of water to her body, feeds her with all sot of cold foods, such as barli, halwa kundur, lai chee kang and more, making sure she eats although her mouth and throat are full with ulcers (cian anak aku). What I did to help her fight this virus was, sapu all over her body with calamine lotion to ease itchiness, sapu her mouth with ubat kebas mulut tu to make sure she can eat & has enough energy by making sure she can eat and play with her in make sure she eats, drinks, energetic and controlled her temperature. The other are depends to her body to fight the virus back.

What is hand, foot, and mouth disease?

Hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) is a fairly common viral illness in children. (HFMD is not the same as foot-and-mouth disease, also called hoof-and-mouth disease, which affects animals.)

HFMD most often occurs in preschoolers, although adults and children of any age can get it. Most adults have developed antibodies against it from previous exposure. HFMD most often shows up in the summer and fall.

HFMD can be caused by any of a number of viruses, most commonly the coxsackie virus. Although in very rare cases HFMD can lead to viral meningitis or encephalitis (inflammation of the brain), children usually recover just fine, without treatment, in a week to ten days.

What are the symptoms?

If your baby contracts HFMD, he'll first have a mild fever. You may notice that his appetite isn't what it usually is. He may also have a sore throat and feel lousy in general.

A day or two after the fever starts, your baby will develop painful sores in his mouth — on his tongue, gums, or the inside of his cheeks. This will likely make him irritable.

Your child may also develop a rash on the palms of his hands, the soles of his feet, and maybe his buttocks. The rash, which isn't itchy, starts out as small, flat, red dots that may turn into bumps or blisters.

Is HFMD contagious?

Yes, the virus can be transmitted through nose and throat secretions, the fluid in the blisters, or stool. While your baby will be most contagious during the week he first shows symptoms, the virus can be transmitted for weeks afterward.

If your baby usually goes to daycare, check with the staff about the attendance policy. They may want you to keep your child home until his symptoms are gone or even longer.

Should I call the doctor?

Yes. Although your baby's doctor won't be able to do much, she can make recommendations for fever and pain relief. And if you're not sure that HFMD is what you're dealing with, the doctor can confirm it by taking a look.

If your baby is under 3 months and his rectal temperature reaches 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, call the doctor immediately. (A baby this young with a fever needs to be watched carefully.)

If your baby is at least 3 months old, talk with his doctor about when she'd like you to call. She may suggest that you call if your baby's temperature reaches 101 degrees F or higher, or, once he's 6 months old, when his fever reaches 103 degrees F.

One thing your doctor will be watching for is dehydration, because the mouth sores may make it difficult for your baby to drink anything. If your baby shows any signs of dehydration — such as a dry, parched mouth or going six hours or more without wetting his diaper — call his doctor immediately.

How should I care for my baby while he's sick with HFMD?

If your baby has a relatively mild case of this illness, you won't have to do much beyond watching his temperature and making sure he's taking in enough liquids and food. If your baby gets a bad case of HFMD, though, he can be really miserable. Be prepared to do plenty of soothing in addition to pushing the liquids.

If your baby is eating solid foods, avoid giving him anything salty, spicy, or acidic while his mouth hurts. Soft foods will be easiest for him to handle, too.

Cold drinks, ice cream, and ice pops may ease the pain, as will the proper dose of acetaminophen or ibuprofen, if your doctor okays it. (Never give a child aspirin. It can lead to Reye's syndrome, a rare but potentially fatal disorder.)

One way to temporarily ease the pain is to dip a cotton swab in a one-to-one mixture of a liquid antacid (such as Maalox or Mylanta) and liquid children's antihistamine (such as Benadryl), and gently coat the inside of your baby's mouth with the solution. The combination of these two over-the-counter medicines will coat and soothe the sores. In severe cases, your doctor may recommend adding a prescription medicine to the mix.

Can my baby get HFMD more than once? How can I prevent it?

Your baby can come down with HFMD again. As with colds, your child will develop immunity to the specific virus that made him sick, but there are many viral strains that can cause the illness.

Take precautions such as washing your baby's hands regularly, washing and disinfecting toys and other objects that might have germs on them, and trying to avoid infected children. Still, it's impossible to guarantee that your child won't catch the illness if he's exposed to an infected person.

What if I'm pregnant when my child comes down with the illness? Is the baby I'm carrying at risk?

If you're exposed to HFMD when you're pregnant, the chance that your fetus will be affected is very small, but you should mention it to your ob-gyn. Wash your hands frequently after changing diapers or tending to your sick child's needs. You might also want to consider wearing gloves to keep your risk to a minimum.

Unwanted visitor...

Since last two weeks I've been receiving calls and SMS from house agent to set appointment for new potential house buyer. But since here at this condo we always heard and read news on notice board posting bad news of house break. Although it has been fully equips with CCTV, alarm and guards. We didn't want the appointment or meeting done before we had transferred all our belonging back to kampung. We had given dates to confirm that is after raya. But some how the agent seems to be very hush and ignoring our needs. Everyday he will call 4-5 kali and I usually doesn't pick up his call since I'm damn busy in the office with meetings and discussions, since last two weeks coz of new restructuring exercise here in SME Bank. Almost everyday I have to be in the office untill 9.00 to 10.00 pm with balqis (since nobody will take care of her at that time). I'm feeling tired and frust with this guy keep chasing me, dah la tension with the office work yang nak all SEGERA and in rush with arahan yang tak tetap dan berubah-ubah. I have to handle about 4 renovation at a time and to conduct staff transfer and penempatan which includes dealing with wireman, workstation and office equipment supplier, movers, technicians and more at a time. Da** I can't do by myself I need help!

And today I am sick at home with balqis. Tadi malam, while we are all in bed getting to sleep. Somebody ring our door bell berkali-kali macam orang giler. Stupid! Orang nak tido la! We didn't open the door since we don't know who's at the door. If it is somebody we know they should have ring us a call. Nowdays it is scary, some strangers can just ambush your home and samun or rompak with geng. Takut tau baca berita macam-macam kat newspaper.

Dalam hati, "tuan rumah nie tak sabar2 nak halau orang dari rumah. Tak leh ker negotiate elok2... Orang pun takut la... Kalau buat polis report apa jadi ek? Saya salah ker? Bukan ker kira langgar privacy orang dah tu, walaupun memang rumah dia? Am I wrong? What are your opinion? Anybody?

DSLR camera...

I use to have SLR camera before used during my study as an architecture student in UIA... was bought in 1998, using my savings since child.. cost me about RM1500. I bought CANON EOS 500N in Bintang Maju fotoshop at Central Market (CM). At that time photography is costly and "only for people with money", but then I'm willing to sacrifice my saving only for my hobby or "minat". Really fall in love with photography since childhood, reading photography books and adore their works. My experience using camera starts after my mom bought me a small camera from mecca during their haj (1992). Then, film cost about RM7-12 for 36 exposure of 100 i'm not sure what... :) but usually i bought 36 exposure of 400 coz it can cater both dark and bright environment, which will cost about RM14-16 per roll of film.

I was wondering around for years since digital SLR in the market but not single one make me fall in love... until about few years back... Falling in love with CANON 7D. Although my film SLR still in good condition but the running cost today is very expensive... film now days very hard to find and if you want to view your picture you have to process it, processing fee is about RM5 and photo printing for 4R is 60-80 cent per piece, back then you can only get it at 30-35 cent per piece...

I'm quite fussy on buying things... Not only the specification i'm looing for but the looks, the overall composition, weight, price and what it can give me... I'm looking for camera that can capture in speed, fast.. bole tangkap banyak kali dengan cepat... their waiting time paling sikit... and can do most of my last SLR camera can do.. but still this 7D has few thing it can't do compared to my film SLR... but it is minimal... I'm thinking of both NIKON or CANON?

Apa pendapat kawan-kawan? Which is better? or thei's other i don't know about.... SONY, PANASONIC, SAMSUNG, etc.

I'm thinking of buying special birthday cake for balqis birthday this year, since I'm no good at baking cakes.

I was thinking to made special request on the cake design, but I can't made my mind. First of all the flavor of the cake should be fruits or strawberry.

Balqis loves Teddy bear so do cats and colors... Which one should I choose or can I combine all those? How will the cake look like? Is it ok? Or caca-merba? Well I think I should leave it to the expert since I'm not. Here some picture of cakes I've surf trough the web for some ideas.

How I wish I could have my own shop. I wish to have own art & photo shop which comprise of my handmade craft and art work & collection of my photo or gallery of my photo. Really wish to become one of the great children portrait photographer. For me that is the most challenging part of all as a photographer. To capture moment and portrait of children. There are many photographer in the overseas, but here in Malaysia so far not as I expected, although there are few kira good photographer like Saiful Nang and his wife, others I'm not really sure. Last Saturday (3rd July 2010), I've lost my new baby... That morning I bleed heavy just as similar to what had happened before during my first pregnancy . The difference is it happens at early stage (1-8 weeks) compared to first pregnancy at 2-3rd trimester (more than 6month)

Monday at 8.30am, went to see O&G for checkup. O&G checked and resulting there still left over (the main fetus) in my uterus and making it more difficult to fall off itself is my uterus "terbalik" u-shape terbalik, they call it introvert. So I end up to have an operation to remove the remaining. O&G explained about the operation and it called ERPOC (better than D&C), she said the operation only took place about 15-20 minutes. I was warded immediately trough all the procedures. I have to change to operation clothes no others only it, including underwear. I was pushed in operation theater at 9.45am. I was given ubat I'm not sure of it's name injected trough my vein. I can see all the nurses busy preparing around me and talking to doctor. One nurse tell me if I'm feeling sleepy just close my eyes. The moment I open my eyes, I was in the ward. I didn't know when I fell asleep. About few minutes my hubby and little princess came. It was about 12.00 noon... then later doctor came to see me. She ask whether I'm awake or sedar or feeling anything during the operation. I said no... not at all. she said I was speaking to nurse and my eyes are open wide, so they put me more dose of ubat. but actually at that time I was already asleep... but still awake?? Lama jugak lah yer aku tido maknanya... hehehe... still feeling a little dizzy that time... later I was discharge from ward at around 6.00 pm. I was given 7 days MC till next checkup on next Monday.

The feelings and pain are diffenrent from bersalin dulu... kalau bersalin dulu sakit during bersalin time... and after bersalin tak rasa apa-apa kecuali penat dan keletihan. Tapi kali ini, tak sakit during operation since telah dibius sehingga pengsan terus, but after that perut dan belakang memang sakit... kalau baring jer ok lah... kalau jalan lebih sikit contoh kemas rumah.. memang sakit and will bleed. So sekarang I'm at home berehat till next appointment.

Bumbo Seat – Dangerous Seat

A little over a month ago I was with a friend in a local store looking for a baby gift. We saw the bumbo seat and my friend thought that would be a neat gift, but working in a law office I have become leery about products. I expressed my concerns to her that in recent days we might hear of a defect with the seat......

"The reports of serious head injuries prompted the CPSC to announce a nationwide warning to consumers that have these — not to put these on elevated surfaces and be aware that children can climb out of them or they can tip over in these chairs," said CPSC Senior spokesperson Julie Vallese.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission knows of at least 28 incidents of babies falling out of Bumbo Seats. Three of those cases resulted in skull fractures.

The Lamm family has filed a lawsuit against the Bumbo company and Target stores, where a friend bought their chair as a gift.

"If it had been three minutes later he wouldn't have made it," said Mary Catherine Doherty, Dylan's mother, Santa Rosa .

"He arched his back and the Bumbo tilted and the back folded and he toppled over backwards. When I picked him up, I could feel his head and I could tell it wasn't good," said Kevin Lamm of Santa Rosa Dylan landed head first on the hard kitchen floor. He was rushed to the hospital with a cracked skull and it was filling with blood.

"By the time we got there, there was no pulse — three minutes more and he would have been dead. I dont' know what I'd do if I lost him. He means everything to us," says Kevin Lamm.
Emergency surgery saved his life.

Now the Lamms want to warn everybody about this chair.

Bumbo told ABC News they do not encourage parents to use the seats on raised surfaces and that they have been cooperating with the CPSC, but until recently the Bumbo web site and Bumbo's displaying package contradicted this by declaring the seat safe for use on "any level surface," and had photos of babies sitting in the seat all in a row on top of a picnic table during a birthday party posted on the company's web site as well as displayed on its packaging. The Bumbo Company told ABC's San Francisco Local Channel 7 On Your Side investigation team that its seat is safe with "suitable supervision," and that the term safe on any "level" surface means "ground level."

Many photos as well as the statement "safe on any level surface" have since been removed from the website due to inquires and the Lamm law suite. Bumbo says it wants to avoid "contradictory" messages. The company based out of South Africa said they are making new warning labels and instructions and taking the seats off shelves until the warnings can be added.

Satu cerita pendek untuk tatapan dan pengajarann...

Aduh...sakitnyer. ..isk.... . aduuh....Bang sakit nye tak tahan saya" keluh Nisa pada suaminya Zakri.

"Apelah awak nie....lama sangat nak bersalin dah berjam-jam dah tak keluar-keluar juga. Penat dah saya tunggu. Nih mesti ader benda yang tak elok awak buat , itu lah sebab lambat keluar budak tu banyak dosa la tu" rungut Zakri pd Nisa.

Nisa hanya diam dan menahan sakit nak beranak, hampir 1 jam Nisa dalam bilik bersalin tapi baby tak keluar juga. Sebak hati Nisa bila Zakri berkata begitu. Sejak mengandung ada sahaja yang tidak kena dihati Zakri terhadapnya. Seakan-akan membenci Nisa dan anak yang dikandungnya. Jururawat datang memeriksa dan kemudian bergegas memanggil Doktor Johari. Doktor Johari (Doktor Peribadi) datang dan bergegas menyediakan keperluan menyambut kelahiran. Nisa hanya mendiamkan diri menahan sakit dan air mata meleleh panas dipipi bukan disebabkan takut atau sakit tapi rungutan Zakri tadi. Doktor Johari menyuruh Nisa meneran ...."Come on Nisa u can do it...once more...." Kata ransang Doktor Johari itu membuatkan Nisa bertenaga dan sekali teran sahaja kepala baby sudah keluar..."Good mummy" kata Doktor Johari selepas menyambut baby yang keluar itu.

Tiba-tiba Nisa terasa sakit lagi dan Nisa meneran untuk kali kedua dan keluar seorang lagi baby, kembar rupanya. "Nisa u got twin, boy and girl, putih macam mummy dia" kata Doktor Johari memuji Nisa. "Tahniah Zakri,it's a twin" Doktor Johari mengucapkan tahniah kepada Zakri. Zakri hanya mendiamkan diri setelah menyaksikan kelahiran anak pertamanya, kembar pulak. Memang Doktor Johari itu menyuruhnya melihat bagaimana keadaan kelahiran anaknya. Baby boy dan girl Nisa namakan Mohammad Danial dan Nur Dania.Nisa berasa lega... tapi Nisa masih lagi teringat kata-kata Zakri padanya sebentar tadi. Terlalu banyak kata-kata yang membuat Nisa selalu kecil hati . Tapi Nisa tahankan sahaja. Nisa tahu kalau Nisa mengadu pada emak, Nisa akan dimarahi semula. Jadi Nisa hanya diam dan memendam rasa. Danial dan Dania diletakkan di nursery di Hospital itu sementara menanti Nisa berehat kemudian dapatlah Nisa menyusukan Danial dan Dania. Comel sungguh kembar Nisa. Nisa termenung dan otak fikirannya menerbang kembali detik-detik semasa Nisa mengandungkan kandungannya, Zakri selalu memarahi Nisa, ada sahaja yang tidak kena. Kata Nisa yang bukan-bukan, gila, ada sahaja tuduhan yang tidak masuk akal semuanya dihamburkan pada Nisa. Tak sanggup Nisa hadapi semua itu tapi demi kandungannya, Nisa kuatkan semangat dan pendirian Nisa.

Ingat lagi waktu Nisa mula mengandung Zakri tak percaya Nisa mengandung anak dia, dua kali dia membuat pemeriksaan Antenatal samada Nisa mengandung.Zakri ragu anak dalam kandungan Nisa. Dia tak boleh terima baru tiga bulan kahwin dah mengandung.. .Nisa dah 2 bulan...Nisa cuma kosong selama sebulan selepas berkahwin. Nisa tak tau nak cakap apa.

Nisa balik rumah dalam kesedihan. Pada mulanya Nisa gembira bila mengandung tapi sebaliknya pula yg terjadi. Perasaan hati Nisa bangga Nisa dapat memberi zuriat kepada Zakri. Tapi apa yang Nisa dapat hanyalah tuduhan yang tak pernah terlintas di otak jemala Nisa. "Kenapa abang berlainan sekarang ni, tak macam dulu pelembut, suka berjenaka, ni tak asyik nak cari salah Nisa sahaja. Nape Bang?"soal Nisa pada Zakri . "Kaulah penyebabnya. Tak yah nak tunjuk baik plak" Zakri menempelak Nisa "Jantan mana yang kau layan kat opis kau tu" sergah Zakri lagi. "Abg syak Nisa ngan lelaki lain ke? Kenapa Abg syak yg bukan-bukan, Nisakan isteri Abang yang sah tak kanNisa nak buat jahat ngan orang lain pulak Bang"? terang Nisa pada Zakri. "ALLAH dah bagi kita rezeki awal,tak baik cakap cam tu. Itu semua kehendak ALLAH" Nisa senyum dan menghampiri sambil memeluk badan suaminya tetapi Zakri meleraikan pelukan Nisa dengan kasar sehingga Nisa hampir tersungkur. Nisa menangis dan sedih. Zakri buat tak tahu sahaja. Deraian airmata Nisa semakin laju. Nisa hanya mampu menangis. Terasa dada .Nisa sakit menahan semua tohmahan dari Zakri, suaminya yang sah. "Woi, benda-benda tu bole terjadilah Nisa, kawan baik ngan bini sendiri, suami sendiri, bapak ngan anak, hah emak ngan menantu pun bole jadi tau apatah lagi macam kau nie, tau tak. Tu dulu kawan kau lama tu yang satu opis ngan kau tu, Farid, bukan main baik lagi budak tu" marah Zakri. "Entah-entah keturunan kau, darah daging kau pun tak senonoh.... heee teruk. Nasib aku la dapat bini cam engkau ni"kutuk Zakri lagi pada Nisa. "Bawa mengucap Bang, jangan tuduh saya yang bukan-bukan saya bukan perempuan tak tentu arah walaupun saya menumpang keluarga ni , saya bukan jenis macam tu saya tau akan halal haram, hukum hakam agama. "Walaupun saya tak tau asal usul keluarga kandung saya, saya bersyukur dan berterima kasih pada emak kerana jaga saya dari kecil dah macam darah daging saya sendiri" kata Nisa pada Zakri. "Tapi Abang tak boleh hina keluarga kandung saya walaupun saya tak pernah tengok muka ayah dan mak kandung saya. Mereka lahirkan saya kedunia,"ucap Nisa sambil menangis.

Semenjak kejadian itu Nisa terpaksa mengikut Zakri ke tempat kerjanya apabila habis waktu kerja. Nisa berehat di Surau tempat Zakri bekerja. Zakri bekerja di salah sebuah Pusat membeli belah dan kerjanya mengikut shif.Kalau Zakri shif malam terpaksalah Nisa menunggu Zakri sehingga pukul 10.30 malam - 11.30 malam sehingga habis Pusat membeli belah itu tamat waktu perniagaannya. Nisa terpaksa berbohong pada emak dan keluarga lain dengan mengatakan Nisa buat overtime di pejabat. Nisa terpaksa berbuat demikian kerana tidak mahu dikata-kata dan dituduh lagi. Dengan keadaan perut semakin membesar Nisa gagahkan juga. Tetapi kadangkala Zakri tidak menjemput Nisa di tempat kerja terpaksalah Nisa menaiki bas. Begitulah Nisa sehinggalah Nisa hampir pada waktu bersalin Nisa. Kalau diminta jemput...macam- macam kata kesat dilemparkan pada Nisa, perempuan tak tau berdikarilah, berlagak senang lah, lagak kaya lah. Pernah suatu hari Nisa naik marah kerana Zakri jemput Nisa lambat sampai sakit pinggang Nisa menunggunya. Nisa menangis. Zakri tiba-tiba naik angin dan cakap perangai Nisa macam firaun la, perempuan tak sedar dirilah, tak layak jadi isterilah, menyusahkan macam-macam kata nista dilemparkan pada Nisa.

Nisa tambah sedih mengenangkan diri Nisa, ngadu kat emak takut dimarahi pula...bila Nisa balik ke rumah, mereka berdua akan berlakun yang mereka tidak bergaduh...Nisa sedaya upaya tidak mahu menunjukkan yang masalah melanda perkahwinannya. Kasihan Nisa...dalam keadaan yang begitu Nisa masih mampu bertahan, masih kuat lagi emosinya. Satu hari Zakri dalam keadaan marah telah menarik rambut Nisa dan menghantukkan kepala Nisa ke dinding...Nisa hanya mampu menangis dan menanggung kesakitan gara-gara Nisa nak pergi ke rumah Mak Usu Nisa yang ingin mengahwinkan anaknya di Tanjung Karang. Emak Nisa dah seminggu pergi ke sana untuk menolong. Hari dah mula petang jadi Nisa mendesak agar bertolak cepat kerana kalau hari malam nanti bahaya , "Kita nak jalan jauh ni Bang. Biarlah kita pergi awal sikit bolehlah tolong apa yang patut. Masa nilah kita nak membalas pertolongan mereka, ingat tak masa kita kahwin mereka bekerja keras kan "kata Nisa pada Zakri. Zakri ketika itu sedang berehat menonton. "Bang dengar tak ni, lagi pun hari dah mula gelap,takut plak hujan nanti"desak Nisa lagi. Tiba-tiba Zakri bangun dan mukanya bengis memandang Nisa "Kau tahu aku penatkan, tak boleh tunggu ker,suka hati aku lah nak pegi malam ke siang ke tak pegi langsung ker"marah Zakri. "Itu Nisa tau, Abang dah berehat dari pagi tadi Bang masih penat lagi, Nisa cuma nak ingatkan Abang aja"Nisa memberitahu Zakri. Zakri datang pada Nisa dan direntapnya rambut Nisa dan di hantukkannya kepala Nisa kedinding.

Nisa tak dapat buat apa. YA ALLAH sanggup Zakri berbuat demikian...terasa kebas kepala Nisa dan mula membengkak. Pening kepala Nisa dibuatnya. "YA ALLAH kau kuatkan iman aku YA ALLAH, lindungilah aku dan kandungan aku dari bahaya YA ALLAH" doa Nisa dalam hatinya. Nisa memencilkan diri Nisa disudut dinding dan menangis.Zakri kemudian duduk diam. Nisa rasa kepala Nisa macam nak pecah. Kebas masih lagi dan embengkak.. .berdenyut2. .."Bang, Nisa minta maaf jika Nisa membuat Abang marah" Nisa memohon maaf pada Zakri sambil teresak-esak.

Treet,Treet, Treet, Treet....bunyi handphone Zakri. "Sapa plak nie sebok je....."Rungut Zakri yang tengah sibuk berborak dengan kawan-kawan di salah sebuah caf?. "Hoi, Encik Zakri, bini ko kat wad tak gi jengok ke, apa punya laki ko nie? sindir Azlan, kawan pejabat Zakri. "Alah, dia sihat je kat wad tu, makan tanggung berak cangkung, ha,ha,ha"gelak Zakri dan kawan-kawan lain. Azlan cuma berdiam diri. "Senangnya hidup Zakri nie tak ader risau langsung pasal bini dia"cetus hati Azlan. "Akulah kalau bini aku masuk wad bersalin aku sentiasa dok sebelah dia tau...mereka perlukan kita masa tu...nyawa mereka dihujung tanduk semata-mata nak melahirkan zuriat yang dari darah daging engkau tau, cuba fikir sikit" Azlan mengingatkan Zakri. "Iyelah, Lan, lagipun Nisa dah bersalin, selamat dah, sekarang tengah berehat laaa, apa aku nak risau lagi" jawab Zakri selamba. "Suka hati kau lah, tapi kalau ader apa-apa nanti kau jangan menyesal Zakri, sesal tak sudah nanti" kata Azlan lagi. Treet, Treet, Treet....bunyi handphone Zakri. "Hello Zakri speaking" jawab Zakri. "Hello Zakri, Doktor Johari sini, ade masalahlah Zakri, pasal Nisa, datang segera ke hospital ye Zakri, Nisa tidak sedarkan diri........ ."panggilan kecemasan dari Doktor Johari "Iye ke, teruk ke dia Johari , okay I atang"...tuttttttt . Zakri menamatkan perbualannya dengan Doktor Johari. "Lan. Kau kut aku, Nisa tak sedar diri ..."ajak Zakri pada Lan. "Hah, tadi kau kata bini kau sihat"tanya Lan pada Zakri. "Alah jom ler cepat" desak Zakri.

"Zakri, kami tak dapat selamatkan Nisa, Nisa mengalami pendarahan otak yang serius, sebelum nie pernah tak Nisa jatuh atau...terhantuk kuat cause sebelah kanan kepalanya kelihatan bengkak dan ada tanda lebam. Mungkin kesan dah lama? tanya Doktor Johari dengan serius dan ingin penjelasan Zakri. Zakri hanya mendiamkan diri. Automatik otak Zakri teringat yang dia pernah menarik rambut Nisa dan menghantukkan kepala Nisa kedinding sekuatnya... dan selepas kejadian itu Zakri tidak pernah pun membawa Nisa ke Klinik untuk membuat pemeriksaan kepalanya dan semenjak kejadian itu Nisa sering sakit kepala yang teruk ...tapi Zakri tidak pernah mengendahkan kesakitan Nisa....baginya Nisa mengada-ngada ..saja buat sakit untuk minta simpati...tetapi sebaliknya.. ...Zakri hanya diam...."YA ALLAH apa aku dah buat" rasa bersalah membuat dirinya rasa menggigil... "Doktor Zainal yang merawat Nisa kerana Nisa mengadu sakit kepala sewaktu Nisa memberi susu pada kembarnya di Nursery, sakit yang amat sangat katanya so Doktor Zainal membawa Nisa ke Lab untuk membuat scanning di kepalanya dan confirm otaknya ada darah beku tapi malangnya ia sudah ditahap yang kritikal, kami tak mampu lakukan apa-apa kerana Nisa tidak mahu di operation sebelum meminta izin dari kau Zakri, Nisa telah pergi dulu dengan tenang.Permintaan terakhir Nisa, Nisa minta kau membaca diarinya. I'm really sorry Zakri. ALLAH berkuasa Zakri kita tak dapat menghalangnya" kata Doktor Johari lalu memberikan Zakri sebuah diari yang berbalut kemas dengan kain lampin baby yang masih baru.

Zakri mengambil diari itu dan membuka setiap lembaran diari Nisa, setiap lembaran tertulis rapi tulisan Nisa dan peristiwa yang berlaku pada Nisa pada setiap hari , Zakri membacanya sepintas dan nyata keluhan,kesakitan segala luahan rasa Nisa semuanya tertera di iarinya. Dan Zakri dapati setiap peristiwa itu semuanya perlakuan buruk Zakri terhadap Nisa..."YA ALLAH kenapa aku buat Nisa begini" terdetik hati Zakri selepas membaca tiap lembaran diari Nisa. Dan terpandang oleh Zakri mukasurat akhir lembaran diari yang ditanda dengan bunga ros merah yang telah kering....membuat Zakri tertarik untuk membacanya.. . Assalamualaikum.

Abang,

Ingat tak bunga Ros merah ni, Abang berikan pada Nisa sewaktu mula mengenali Abang. Lama Nisa simpan bunga tu Bang...Bunga inilah lambang bermulanya perkenalan Nisa dengan Abang. Nisa benar-benar menyayangi Abang. Nisa menyimpan setiap hadiah yang abang bagi pada Nisa. Abang tak pernah tahu kan ... Itulah salah satu buktinya betapa sayangnya Nisa.. Terlebih dahulu Nisa ingin sangat dengar Abang panggil Nisa AYANG seperti kita baru kahwin...Abang panggil Nisa AYANG...terasa diri dimanja bila Abang panggil Nisa cam tu...walaupun Nisa dapat merasa panggilan AYANG itu seketika sahaja. Abang dah banyak berubah. Perkataan AYANG telah hilang dan tidak kedengaran untuk Nisa lagi. Kenapa? Bencikah Abang pada Nisa? Abang...mukasurat nie khas utk Abang. Bacalah semoga Abang tahu sayangnya Nisa pada Abang. Abang ingatkan hari nie hari ulangtahun perkahwinan kita yang pertama dan Nisa hadiahkan Abang....... Danial dan Dania. Untuk Nisa tak perlulah Abang bagi kerana tak ada apa yang Nisa inginkan melainkan kasih sayang Abang pada Nisa. Nisa akan pergi mencari ketenangan dan kedamaian untuk diri Nisa. Nisa pergi untuk menemui NYA.

Nisa harap Abang akan menjaga Danial dan Dania dengan baik dan jangan sekali-kali sakiti mereka. Danial dan Dania tak tahu apa-apa. Itulah hadiah paling berharga dari diri Nisa dan mereka adalah darah daging Abang. Jangan seksa mereka. Abang boleh seksa Nisa tapi bukan mereka. Sayangilah mereka...Nisa ingin mengatakan bahawa Nisa tak ada hubungan dengan sesiapa melainkan Abang sahaja di hati Nisa. Jiwa dan raga Nisa hanya untuk Abang seorang. Terima kasih kerana Abang sudi mengahwini Nisa walaupun Nisa in cuma menumpang kasih disebuah keluarga yang menjaga Nisa dari kecil hinggalah Nisa bertemu dengan Abang dan berkahwin. Nisa harap Abang tidak akan mensia-siakan kembar kita dan Nisa tidak mahu mereka mengikut jejak kehidupan Nisa yang malangkerana menumpang kasih dari keluarga yang bukan dari darah daging nisa....tapi Nisa bersyukur kerana dapat mengecapi kasih sayang sepenuhnya dari keluarga ini. Nisa harap sangat Abang akan sentiasa memberitahu pada kembar kita yang Nisa ibunya akan sentiasa bersama disamping kembar kita, walau pun Nisa tak dapat membelai dan hanya seketika sahaja dapat mengenyangkan kembar kita dengan air susu Nisa. Berjanji pada Nisa dan ingat DANIAL dan DANIA adalah darah daging abang...Ampunkan Nisa dan halalkan segala makan minum Nisa selama setahun kita bersama. Sekiranya Abang tidak sudi menerima Danial dan Dania berilah pada emak Nisa supaya emak menjaga kembar kita dan segala perbelanjaan Nisa dah buat nama emak untuk KWSP Nisa. Biarlah emak menjaga kembar kita sekurang-kurang terubat juga rindu emak sekeluarga pada Nisa nanti bila memandang kembar kita. Comel anak kita bang..Dania mengikut raut muka Abang...sejuk kata orang dan Nisa yakin mesti Danial akan mengikut iras raut wajah Nisa...Ibunya. ..sejuk perut Nisa mengandungkan mereka. Inilah peninggalan Nisa untuk Abang. Semoga Abang masih sudi menyayangi dan mengingati walaupun Nisa sudah tiada disisi Abang dan kembar kita.

Sabarlah Zakri, ALLAH maha berkuasa. Kuatkan semangat kau, kau masih ada Danial dan Dania" pujuk Azlan. Zakri hanya tunduk membisu. YA ALLAH,Nisa maafkan Abg Nisa. Zakri longlai dan diari ditangannya terlepas, sekeping gambar dihari pernikahan antara Zakri dan Nisa jatuh dikakinya dan Zakri mengambilnya. Belakang gambar itu tertulis "HARI YANG PALING GEMBIRA DAN BAHAGIA BUAT NISA DAN SEKELUARGA. NISA DISAMPING SUAMI TERCINTA SELEPAS DIIJABKABULKAN. SEMOGA KEGEMBIRAAN DAN KEBAHAGIAAN AKAN MENYELUBUNGI DIRI NISA DAN KELUARGA NISA HINGGA KEAKHIR HAYAT NISA.

Zakri terjelepuk dilantai dan berjuta penyesalan merangkumi seluruh tubuhnya. Zakri seakan orang hilang akal. Satu demi satu setiap perlakuannya terhadap isterinya Nisa seperti terakam dalam kotak otaknya...setiap perbuatannya. ..seperti wayang jelas terpampang.. . kenapalah sampai begini jadinya...kejamnya aku...Nisa, Nisa, Nisa maafkan Abang Nisa. Sewakt jenazah Nisa tiba dirumah suasana amat memilukan. Zakri tidak terdaya untuk melihat keluarga Nisa yang begitu sedih atas pemergian Nisa. Namun emak Nisa begitu tabah dan redha. Danial dan Dania sentiasa di dalam pangkuan neneknya.Saat akhir untuk melihat Jenazah Nisa, Zakri lihat muka Nisa tenang bersih dan Zakri kucup dahi Nisa buat kali terakhir seakan-akan lirik mata Nisa mengikuti wajah Zakri. "Nisa Abang minta ampun dan maaf" bisik Zakri perlahan pada telinga Nisa sambil menangis dengan berjuta penyesalan menimpa-nimpa dirinya. Apabila Zakri meletakkan kembar disisi ibunya mereka diam dari tangisan dan tangan dari bedungan terkeluar seolah-olah mengusapi pipi ibu mereka buat kali terakhir dan terlihat oleh Zakri ada titisan airmata bergenang di tepi mata Nisa. Meleleh perlahan-lahan bila kembar itu diangkat oleh Zakri. Kembar menangis semula setelah diangkat oleh Zakri dan diberikan kepada neneknya.

Jenazah Nisa dibawa ke pusara dan ramai yang mengiringinya termasuklah kembar bersama. Walaupun kembar tidak tahu apa-apa tapi biarlah kembar mengiringi pemergian Nisa, Ibu mereka yang melahirkan mereka. Amat sedih ketika itu.. Zakri tidak mampu berkata apa-apa melainkan menangisi pemergian Nisa yang selama ini merana atas perbuatannya. Dan akhirnya Jenazah Nisa selamat dikebumikan. Satu persatu orang ramai meninggalkan kawasan pusara dan akhirnya tinggallah Zakri keseorangan di pusara Nisa yang merah tanahnya...meratapi pilu, berderai airmata dengan jutaan penyesalan ...YA ALLAH , kuatkan hambamu ini YA ALLAH. Hanya KAU sahaja yang mengetahui dosa aku pada Nisa....ampunkan aku YA ALLAH....akhirnya Zakri terlelap disisi pusara Nisa bermimpikan oleh Zakri,Nisa datang mencium tangan, mengucup dahi dan memeluk Zakri dengan lembut mulus. Zakri melihat Nisa tenang dan jelas kegembiraan terpancar dimuka Nisa Putih bersih. Nisa, Nisa, Nisa nak kemana Nisa, Nisa, Nisaaaaaa. Zakri terjaga dari lenanya. Terngiang-ngiang suara kembar menangis. "YA ALLAH ,Zakri,Zakri bangun Zakri...dan hampir senja ni, mari kita balik, kenapa kau tidur kat sini Zakri?" tegur abang long , abang ipar Zakri. Dari jauh Zakri lihat emak dan kakak ipar mengendung kembar. Mereka menangis. Zakri berlari menuju ke arah kembarnya dan mengusap-usap ubun-ubun anak kembar dan secara automatik kembarnya diam dari menangis. "Danial, Dania anak ayah, ayah akan menjagamu nak...kaulah penyambung zuriat, darah daging ayah... emak, abang dan kakak ipar Zakri tersedu hiba dan mereka berlalu lemah meninggalkan pusara Nisa....

Lately I frequently fall sick... and as usual my period is late since balqis 1 year old... mmm.. after a year baru my period apear.. think it is bcoz of breastfeeding... and till now Balqis is. So for me my periop late is normal since last 6 month plus. But, bcoz of frequently getting sick and loya and weird feeling ... so I did my test this morning.... and to my surprise... Its positive!!

Tadi went to visit doctor... it is still small cant see.. only can see the karung... will meet doctor again next week for confirmation.... so tak leh kata lagi la.... :)

till then, wait for the result of next week checkup.

YES, it's okay to say "NO".

Here are some rules to saying "NO"

Say "NO" firmly but caringly.
Explain why you're saying "NO" so that your little one will learn that you are saying it for a good reason or to protect him. Perhaps you could reinforce your explanation with a simple caring statement to him. "The reason we say YES or NO to you is because we love and care for you".
Don't say "NO", more than you need to.

Here are a few reasons saying "NO" will benefit you and your child

Start immediately. Should your little one become so used to you saying "YES" all the time, you will find that as he gets older he will have a tough time accepting a "NO" from you.
Stand firm. Children are creatures of habit. If you say "YES" to something just because you didn't want to make them unhappy, the next time you decide to say "NO" could end up in a tantrum flare up!
It's good discipline. Remember, saying "NO" is also part of disciplining. A child that grows up with good discipline will find a sense of justice and security in this world.
It's rewarding. And the ultimate reward for you is, your child will appreciate things more when you say "YES"!
Very importantly. It will also teach your child that it's okay to say "NO" to strangers or negative elements.

As parents, we all want the best for our little one, both physically and mentally. And while we always give him the best nutrition for him to grow up, we need to give him the best guidance for him to be the best.
